Summary: Heaven knew when he could see her again. But there was too much danger, and with the war-torn world, there could only be coded letters delivered by others, and hope for a better future. DG with minor ships.
Rating: R
Time frame: Ginny's seventh year
General genre: Romance/Drama
Comments: I practically sweated blood waiting for updates of this one. I'm not normally a huge fan of angst, but Thalia writes it in a way that's moving rather than irritating. As always, she does an excellent job of weaving a story, not only around Draco and Ginny, but also around a host of players that, while barely mentioned in canon, come to three-dimensional life in her works.
Excerpt:
...[S]he certainly wasn't expecting it when quiet footsteps approached her from behind, and then, there was an added weight upon her back. A cloak... too large for her, a man's cloak. Black velvet, soft and warm as a caress and yet as heavy as a promise upon her shoulders, lined with sable. She'd gasped, her eyes wide and her face flushing involuntarily, and looked up to meet his almost-impassive face.
He'd curtly told her to keep it until she got something else to keep her warm, and though she was about to protest, he abruptly turned and walked out of the room.
She didn't know what he had seen.
A small, spritely girl, slender fingers and the tip of her delicate nose reddened slightly by the cold, her cheeks flushed to a soft rose, coppery hair shimmering slightly in the weak light of the room as those crimson lips parted and those huge brown eyes widened like a doe's. Her pallor stood out against the ebony backdrop of the cloak, almost luminous.

Summary: A Gryffindor/Slytherin Romance. D/G, Flint/Bell. As a late addition to the English World Cup team, Katie Bell has a chance to prove to Marcus Flint (and herself) that she is not the little girl she used to be.
Rating: R
Time frame: Post-Hogwarts
General genre: Romance
Comments: I'd never have thought of pairing Katie Bell and Marcus Flint, but it works astoundingly well, especially because it's woven tightly around a lovely and complementary D/G story.
Excerpt:
Ginny smiled ecstatically through the tears streaming down her face. "Yes."
"Oh thank Merlin." Draco slipped the engagement ring onto her finger and took a second to admire how right it looked on her hand.
"I think Sig. Cavallero and his staff approve," Ginny giggled. Draco looked at her in slight confusion before the sounds of a raucous celebration in the kitchen intruded.
"I should bloody hope so. I'd hate to have got through this only to have you cry off because the waiters didn't approve," he teased. Now that the hard part was over Draco was rapidly relaxing. "Do you want dessert?" he asked.
Ginny looked at him, eyes suddenly smouldering, "Not really."

Summary: Love can build or destroy. Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley have been married for six years. She wants a family, but he can't- or won't become a father. Lucius Malfoy's release from prison only makes things more complicated. D/G and Lucius/Narcissa.
Rating: PG-13
Time frame: Post-Hogwarts
General genre: Angst/Romance
Comments: This is the fic that made me start thinking about Lucius Malfoy as a human being as opposed to a generic cardboard cutout of an aristocratic bad guy. Kirichi manages to make me feel the pain of all four of the main characters, even when their viewpoints are diametrically opposed. She maintains the balance so well that no one character can be singled out as being 'right' - all of them have valid motivations for their actions. The only flaw in this fic is that she hasn't updated in a bit and it's killing me.
Excerpt:
“That’s Impossible!” Ginny blurted before she had time to think. “They would never let someone like that out of Azkaban!”
There was a moment of silence before Draco spoke in a quiet but edgy voice: “Someone like what?”
“Someone…like…” Ginny saw the flush tinting Draco’s typically milk-white skin and faltered. “He-he’s a murderer Draco.”
“That’s never been proved.”
Ginny scoffed. “They caught him leading a party of Death Eaters into the Department of Mysteries!” she retorted in disbelief. “I was there Draco- don’t you remember?” she continued, in spite of the fact that her husband’s eyes had narrowed into silver slits.
“He was under the Imperius Curse,” Draco hissed in a dangerous tone. “They had him under the Imperius Curse before. Everyone knew that he was susceptible.”
"You don’t honestly believe that!” Ginny blinked, amazed at the conviction in her husband’s voice. She had barely known Lucius Malfoy, but it was easy for her to see that he was a monster. Draco had lived with him for fifteen years. Whatever their relationship had been like, it must have been terrible. Draco never mentioned his father, and she had never been able to coax her husband into opening up. He couldn’t truly believe that his father was innocent!
Draco dipped his head, but not before Ginny noticed the quivering in his jaw. “Even if he wasn’t…” he managed at last through clenched teeth. “Even if he wasn’t…you should have more respect….”
