Summary: When Voldemort captures Sybill Trelawney after the Death Eaters' disastrous raid on the Department of Mysteries, he alters the course of the war forever. Some say the power of prophecy is in the belief of those who hear it, but Draco Malfoy has always been a believer in fate. Can a pureblood witch with a pure heart undo the sins not only of her generation but of one nearly a thousand years in the past?

Slow burn Draco/Ginny as main pairing and told largely from both of their perspectives, though other POVs make a regular appearance. 95% OoTP compliant, 75% HBP compliant, and we diverge from there. Some inspiration drawn from Sarah J. Maas' universes include ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, and Crescent City; Motherland: Fort Salem; and Senlinyu's "Manacled."
