You Just KNOW That I Had to Do This...

Okay, y'all, I'm SURE that you've seen quotes from that upcoming interview where JKR says that she SHOULD have written H/Hr instead of R/Hr. (And if you haven't, what are you doing reading this blog?? Anyway, we're happy to have you here. We will convert you to D/G.)

Understand, I don't really have a dog in the hunt one way or the other with R/Hr vs. H/Hr. I've read good and bad fanfic for both pairings, and there are good arguments to be made for both.

No, the reason for happiness in D/G-land is that if H/Hr was what JKR should have done, then, by logical extension, H/G IS THE MASSIVE FAIL OF ALL TIME AND EVEN THE AUTHOR ADMITS IT.

Which means, by logical extension, that D/G is supported.

(break for the Happy We Were Right All Along Dance. :)

Why is this important after six and a half years? Why do we still care? Well, it's all in the rest of that D/G essay... but basically, it's because of what these books meant and what the theme really was. They weren't just children's entertainment; they were about something important. And H/G represented the total trashing of that vital theme at the end of DH, especially in the Epilogue of Horror and Doom.

Anyway, more later, but for now, HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
And in other news, we're almost done getting in fics for the exchange!
Now let's all eat chocolate. :)

My first thought to be honest. I was downright giddy when I read about her regret. Don't care much about the trio and who they endgame forever with but hey Ginny is no longer all that tied down to Harry because of that Regret! Yessssssss

Maybe, just maybe, JKR will write a sequel to the HP series and correct her pairings! I would read a book (or series) about Harmione if Drinny was mentioned!

You know, I had a brief thought about that too. ;) There's one thing that I definitely would predict, though. We know that we're getting more canon of a kind with those films. My belief is that we're going to get some kind of background on the families of the people in HP. And that's when we might see some very interesting things reflecting this new info.

OR we could just get an entire 7-book sequel series with D/G constantly happening in the background!

(You know, I think I have a fever, so maybe nobody should believe anything I say right now... ;)

It was so awesome reading about that. I was like, 'Yeah I knew it!' :D
But in my head she was obviously attracted to Draco the entire time. Because I totally ignore the Epilogue of Doom, of course ;).

LOL. I was cackling maniacally when I saw the segment The Colbert Report did about this on Monday night... :D

We are canon, people!
The sexual tension always beats the childhood crush. :D

My best friend said to me:

"OMG you will love that Frust-sheep, but first let me read it, because I'm sure you will explode with joy, when you read that and then I can not read through."

*lol*

First I did not know about what she spoke, but then she gave me, what she read and I read it myself and just said to her:
Strike, STRIIIIKE oh we knew it already, that JKR wrote the couples wrong. *LOL* Oh makes me JKR confession HAPPY. *lol* :D

Even, if JKR had not said her confession, the Epilogue of Doom is really non-existent for me. But now even better. :D

Ok lets party. *throws confetti* *lol* ;D
Oh and yep, I exploded with joy. *lol* ;)

YAY&! A party with a HUGE chocolate cake. In RL, I'm not really supposed to eat chocolate, because it causes migraines.... :(

But in FIA-land, nontuple chocolate cake for everybody! With ice cream! And chocolate sauce! And... um, raspberries! (There has to be at least ONE nutritious thing... ;)

A friend called me because they'd seen it on Daily Kos. It REALLY got around, didn't it...

And, oh yes, three people in my RL writers' group got into a heated discussion about the Epilogue of Doom. I finally proclaimed that it was the worst thing ever written by anyone in the entire history of the world, including all alternate universes. :)
