Forums!

The art gallery has been slightly delayed (anyone with experience with online art archives is encouraged to contact Mynuet and be her guide through the wilderness), but...

The forums are ready! Everybody should go over to http://forums.dracoandginny.com, join, chat, and enjoy!

P.S. While Megh is still the official Tech Goddess, Lyndsie Fenele is graciously pitching in to be a second Tech Goddess for us during this busy time in Megh's life. She'd like to request that anyone who's experiencing any sort of bugs with the archive leave a comment here so that she can start gathering a list of what needs to be fixed. If you go here, you can discuss it.

Forums!!! Yay!!!

I'd just like to point out that on the PhotoBooth layout, some links are missing. On the titles page for example, there is no link to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc pages. Some pages don't have enough stories to fill 2+ pages, but none of the pages have the links. There are links on EFiction layout though.

jadesunsets @ Aug 14, 2006 06:05 pm

Thanks, jadesunsets. I was aware of that same problem occurring when viewing the reviews for a story, but hadn't noticed it in the "Titles" section as well. : )

Lyndsie @ Aug 14, 2006 06:13 pm

I noticed that when I submit a review that instead of going to the next chapter of a story (like it's supposed to) I get pushed to a page that has the photobooth layout (or eFiction) and the disclaimers at the bottom of the page.
How can we fix that?

flame_kitty @ Aug 14, 2006 06:26 pm

Hi flame_kitty. I'll investigate. I'm embarrassed to say it's been such a long time since I've left a review that I don't recall what happens. The page that appears is just blank except for the header (the picture and links) and the footer (the disclaimer)?

Lyndsie @ Aug 14, 2006 06:42 pm

Okay =) Also, if you haven't already noticed, the same problem applies to the most recent page.

jadesunsets @ Aug 14, 2006 07:50 pm

I've spent hours on this forum when I could've been doing summer assignments, college essays or laundry.

BRILLIANT idea. :-D

Okay, question. Who can see the spaces between each comment and who can't? I have the niggling suspicion they're only there if you're a logged in admin... *grumbles*

Lyndsie @ Aug 20, 2006 04:53 pm

Lyndsie, I can see the spaces when I am logged on (I am an admin, so that probably isn't helpful), but I tried logging out and couldn't see them. I use Internet Explorer, if that makes a difference.

Embellished @ Aug 20, 2006 05:51 pm

Lyndsie, I'm getting the same thing as Embellished (spaces only when I'm logged in as admin), but I use Netscape instead of IE.

Mourning Broken Angel @ Aug 20, 2006 06:43 pm

*grumbles* Okay... I thought so. The program has a separate folder for admin stuff, and adding the break to the main file doesn't do anything. *hates on PHP* Thanks!

Lyndsie @ Aug 21, 2006 06:35 am

There we go! Now I've got to go back and take out the break in the admin folder so it won't be double anymore, but I'll do that when I work with the formatting.
