Oh please finish this! I'm begging! I wrote a story like this one *sigh* it truly is everyone's guilty little pleasure. OK, my suggestion for a pop song...geez, I have no idea! Something by...I don't know, Busted or McFly maybe. I mean, I like their music but it's definitely pop. I really don't know.

*Just had brainwave*
And they're rare, so feel honoured!
Draco's band should do The Living End's Prisoner of Society. (They're a kickass band from Melbourne. I think the song came out c.1997)
"'Cause I'm a brat
And I know everything and I talk back,
And I'm not listening to anything you say!"

Does it count as rudely bugging you for an update if I say I love this fic, and that it puts a guilty little smile on my face everytime I see the title, let alone read it?

Well who would've thought Ginny and Pansy would even speak to each other let alone go to those extremes. It was still very very very very very very very . . . well hilarious. good job.

**laughing again at the obsurdity of an oboe in a rock band** Ha ha I want someone to come up with a band and have someone playing an oboe jus so I can hear if their as good as Luna supposedly is. I don't deny she might be good but I would have never thought of using that particular instrument. Great Job can't wait for the rest.

**laughing quite heartily** Luna has got to be the ditzy-est blond in the world. She's always good for a laugh though. I like it so far.

Maybe 'The Girl Can Rock' by Hilary Duff? Or 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' by Deep Blue Something? Anyway, I love the fic!

I’m reccomneding any song by The Clash for Malfoy’s band to play.

Most possibly White Riot, Complete control, Julies Been Working for the Drug Squad (I can totally see (hear) an oboe playing in this song), London’s Burning or I’m So Bored with the USA.

Off point: I can totally see/hear Ginny’s band playing King for A Day by Green Day. The oboe would sound so bloody wicked. ;)

And would Green Day be counted as pop, because some of their songs from their “Warning” album would be fantabulous for Ginny’s band.

But some songs which might be okay in that era (if I’m not mistaken early 2000s?) “Get Me Some” by Mercury4 maybe some Arvil Lavinge. I’m from Aussie, so what’s popular in the UK during that era might be completely different. Evanescence was kind of big back then, if I remember correctly? And Justin Timberlake. And Kelly Clarkson maybe?

If you want to hear any songs, email me at 0o.wildsong.o0@gmail.com

I used to play the oboe and I play the guitar as well so if you have an queries feel free to email me.

"You wouldn't believe what she can do with that oboe,"

GOD i love that line! this fic is brilliant, like all of yours. the great thing about fanfiction is that you can skip all the angsty destroying-voldemort stuff and write something funny like this. oooh...is malfoy gonna be all kitted up like westlife? oh i DO despise westlife...
Name: Shalita reviewed The Watcher on Apr 15, 2006 05:41 am
ooooo, Ginny's band sounds like they would play something from Stabbing Westward (like "Haunting Me" or "The Thing I Hate" or "Darkest Days"). I think for the challenge of having to play a "Malfoyish" song, they should play "Konstantine" by Something Corporate or "At Your Funeral" by Saves the Day. =)

Oh I've been away far too long! This explains the survey at LJ!

pop song. hmm. you could be REALLY evil to Ginny and force her to sing Britney Spears. Or you could be easier and do something like Dispatch. :)

"You wouldn't believe what she can do with that oboe,"
And that about says it all. I love this story! The cynicallity (is that even a word?), the humor, the thieving echissans. Please write another chapter soon!

I love this fic!
As for song suggestions...
I'd say a song by The Corrs would fit the bill! I love them but some songs are very very sugary!
How 'bout "All the Love in the world" or "Somebody for someone"
Name: Nectaris reviewed Betrayal by Sue on Apr 07, 2006 03:05 pm
I think Elle is right though, "I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt would suit Ginny down to earth. And leave lots of exposing clothing and the like open for use....

I am soooo glad you dragged this out from where it had been hiding! I read this months ago and have been lamenting how much too awesome (bad, bad English) it is to have to lie there covered in dust. Sweet Ginny, by the way! Brilliant and refreshing! Please keep it up!
