OH HO! Aaah, the proverbial shit hitting the fan... I'm in love with this fic! You have such a wonderful way of portraying Draco. The way you've written him makes him seem more believable, more human. And man ooh man, I cannot wait for you to update!! Cheers!!

Well its lovely to see this story updated. The Ginny/ Draco conversations were done well and were in keeping with the theme of this chapter (a tentative movement towards more intamacy) Poor Ginny she now has to deal with her family very few who are going to be rational about this development. I love this story and can't wait for the next chapters Caps You have Ron's attitiude down perfectly

hey girl! I'm sorry if i haven't reviewed in a long time -- it's just that RL has been driving me nuts lately, with the new job and living alone in a loft that doesn't have cable and phone! Also, I was wondering if you've been getting the e-cards and emails I sent you?! I don't want you to think that i've forgotten about you! I know the last YM chat we had was a bit weird and all, and I hope you don't hate me for it. Please don't because I would feel miserable if you hate me! *whimpers* As for your story, it's one of few D/G fics that i read now since leaving the fandom (I have my reasons for doing so -- did you get the email i wrote about it?!) -- and I have to say that I still can't get enough of it... I can't wait to find out how their relationship will evolve especially after all those trials... and I sometimes daydream of what's to become of them. I hope I can get to share them to you... especially about Blaise & Luna! This is I believe only the 2nd B/L fic I've read, and so far I love it immensely! anyhow, take care always and I miss you terribly! Please do email me if you can! *hugs*

Sigh. So glad you've updated. It was nice to see Ginny eventually feeling comfortable with Draco, although their conversation (and especially his dialogue) was a bit stilted. I love the idea of Luna/Blaise, although Luna has been very un-flighty, hasn't she? Still I think their relationship works and always thought they were very cute. Can't wait for the rest of it!!!!

Looking forward to the next one! (as always.) My sympathies with the rain - I was in LA these past four days and ended up splashing around in puddles instead of basking in the sunshine like I'd hoped.

Great chapter, I was so thrilled when I woke up and saw this little gem waiting for me! I hope you are staying safe and dry, I'm in Phoenix, we are just getting your storm. BTW, I love that I can feel all the emotions, you write beautifully.

This has been an amazing story, and I love the Quidditch type chapter titles. I can't wait to see where it goes....

Would you believe I actually squealed when I saw a chapter update for this story? LOL

I am enjoying this emotional tension building far more than I really think is healthy LOL, but god am I looking forward to each chapter. Again wonderfully done. That conversation with Narcissa was great, pitched at just the right level of snarkiness and/or hurt feelings. Brilliant.

Yours in anticipation,

Myanceris.

Well I thought the Narcissa and Draco scene was well done.... no instant forgiveness but eventual return of the relationship. I also thought that Draco/ Ginny's meeting was well handled as well...nervous at first but it then settled into companionship. I also liked How Draco is willing to follow her lead. The Lunch scene and the conversation with Narcissa both illustrated the maturity and the changes to Draco's personality over the past 9 months (changes that were only alluded to in the previous chapters) Don't bother about deadlines- deadlines are for projects at work or school. Allow the story to tell itself at its natural pace- it makes the story flow. Great Job with the story Caps

This story is so very enjoyable- angst and humor and all the good stuff put together right. Thank you so much for putting as much time into it as you have- I know how much RL can suck when you just want to write, dammit! ^_^ Anyway, good luck with the rest of the fic, and the crap weather over there!

Little typo: Luna at the beginning of the story talks about blue eyes and brown hair. When Ginny is falling asleep on her couch, you have her thinking of someone with brown eyes and blue eyes.

Author's Response: Oops - thanks for pointing that out. Thank goodness I didn't say brown eyes and blue hair :)

I had my moment of doubt, but that is all gone. I think it's wonderful how you convey how much they love and yearn for each other, despite the restraints caused by Draco's actions. The scene with Narcissa was also nicely played - not instant forgiveness and forgetting, but rather a natural progression towards reconciliation stemming from an unkillable love... Which applies to the D/G as well, actually. I'm back to being able to whole-heartedly cheer for them to get together, though, and for that I thank you. :D Well, that and the Blaise/Luna. And, you know, writing the story in the first place. Oh, and take your time with the updates - I think I speak for all your discriminating readers when I say that it's better you have stress-free time to write chapters that kick ass rather than forcing yourself to write something that may only prod buttock.

Author's Response: Thank you. You know that you're my muse, right? So when you say your doubts are all gone, I know that I've accomplished what I set out to do. I've sweated over this story as it's turned out so different from my first thoughts of it ... my original plan was to write a small smutty sequel to 'Catching the Snitch'. But as I've said before, I realized that the Draco who relentessly pursued Ginny had a dark side and it would not have been true to the characters (in fandom at least)to have him be simply sweet and loving in this story. I know that many were shocked at exactly how dark he was but even when he first 'persuaded' Ginny to give the relationship a chance, he used her body's responses to prove his point. And there still is a lot to be resolved between the two of them ... especially as they're now alone in Draco's flat (the one Ginny has fond memories of).

Another wonderful chapter. I'm so glad to see Ginny is no longer afraid to be alone with Draco. It shows she's starting to trust him again. And it's wonderful to see Narciss and Draco mending their relationship. I hope Draco will be careful; Please please don't blow your chance!!!

I am glad you are still not letting Ginny have Draco lol. Good job! =] Can't wait to read more chapters! It's going to be sad seeing this story end.

Ach!! I want to say first that I think you've handled this story well. I still don't think I forgive Draco, but I do understand that Ginny still loves him. I was afraid you were going to rush it after what he did to her...what a horrible scene...so I'm glad you've been taking your time. Also, I was ready to explode when he said he was going to propose. Is he MAD? She barely even knows if she can accept SEEING him, let alone, MARRYING the idiot. If you can't tell, I think I am hoping for them to get together. I feel very much like Luna; I can't forgive Malfoy but for Ginny's sake I'll accept him. In any case, you explained it very well, that he wants to propose because he's so used to grabbing what he wants. I hope he's truly learned. I hope he doesn't say anything about it in their first meeting. I mean, I know you want to finish this story, but I think it would be very false if you had him propose and her accept. THey're building up their relationship right now, good. She's learning to trust him, good. But they haven't even started on romance. Or sex, for god's sake, that's going to be difficult. So do, please, give them more time.

this is the third time i have attempted to read this fic, always getting stuck half way through the first chapter. now i'm very glad i have gotten up to date with it, it's completely different from what i expected and it's uttterly brilliant. Draco's character is perfect, i even stomached the rape which normaly puts me right off. You have created a wonderful story, and i cannot wait for the next chapter. katie x

thanks for another great chap. i luv were your taking draco. i'm glad your not hurrying through your character progression. it's fun to read how draco's change is taking place but there's enough of the old malfoy dastardliness to keep it real. keep going!

I absolutely love your story...I love the interaction between Blaise and Luna. I loved the letter that Draco wrote to Ginny and I think it's great that you had them communicate via tape recorder. I am glad you didn't have Ginny take back Draco just because his mom (btw, love how you wrote her!) and Blaise came to her house...it's good that she is building up the trust again. I can really feel the emotions of these characters through your writing and I am looking forward to Draco meeting with the Weasleys.

Wonderful chapter. But you have to promise... PROMISE... that if you don't feel you can do all that you're capable of by finishing this in a week, you won't do it. Don't rush it for us! I mean it! :) You're doing a great job. We all have faith in you!
