I was so happy to see an update, I forgot how much I liked this story and this last chapter did not disappoint. I love what Draco said to Mrs Weasley and the moment between Draco and Ginny at the end of the chapter. Nice job and I hope you can update soon.

Ah, how I love this fic. This chapter ended so beautifully--the awkward, tentative vibes are just... *sigh* It's brilliance, that's what it is. I always love your fiction, no exception here. This is going to turn out just great, I know. I appreciate how you aren't try to rush it. It seems much more natural that way. After all, it's all about the journey--the conquest, now that's the truly enjoyable part. I can't wait to read more. Bravo!

I really like the progression of this chapter. The way Draco and Ginny's relationship builds has exactly the right pace. I'm looking forward to more.

I'm glad you updated your fic. I like the part of Ginny being a bed-warmer, nice touching sentence. I enjoy hearing Draco's remarks, its funny. I hope his mother is alright. I love the sense of humor your using to balance the horror of war.

I'm so glad you've updated this story! I was starting to wonder... (not that I'm anyone to talk. :P) It's a delight, and I can't wait to see where you take it.

This is a well written fiction and that in itself makes it a pleasure to read. I like your characterizations so far. I have to smile at dirty Draco who's just sneaky and selfish enough to utilize Ginny as a living hot water bottle...I can't wait to read more.

this has been really well written and plausible so far, i'm so sick of people making draco and ginny disgustingly out of character. But you've done a wonderful job so far and i can't wait to see their relationship grow and the rest of the plot flesh out, please continue as soon as possible. and thanks for the great story! *-*

I'm really enjoying this story a lot and I just wanted to express that to you! I think my favorite part of it is the fact that Draco is working for the Order because he is pretty much being held hostage via his money (regardless of whether he does turn out slightly decent in the end). Your rationale for his switch makes far more sense than just about any other attempt I've seen. I also like Ginny's truce with him: “You don’t want to be here and I can help you get out faster.” It is SO pleasant to read a story that you can honestly believe. Can't wait for more of this! :)

Hey! This is really good, can't wait to see what happens! It's kind of nice to see Draco took off from his high pedastal once in a while! I'm not a fan of Hermione/Harry's (which is what im assuming this is, cuz the whoel "green eyed baby thing") But its better than hermione with anybody else if she cant be w/ ron! But in later chaps, hopefully we'll find out what happened, why Hermione has to live with Muggles, how Draco came to be in the order, and all that? Good work, keep it up!

Author's Response: Oh, there won't be any H/Hr resolution, as I really don't like the pairing and put it in there to be Portkey friendly. It's not meant to be any more introspective than it is, and I'm sorry to say most of your questions won't be answered. My goal with this is to take Draco down a few notches and show him that it's okay.

I think that you have caputured the intensity of the setting very well, it calls to strife, but then there is Malfoy amongst it all beleaguering his "man-smells". Awesome. I am ready for more!

I just finished reading the Who? Trilogy on Portkey, and if this is going to be anything like that, I can already tell that I am going to love this story!
