As I was reading this, I kept hearing this song, and I loved getting to the end and seeing that it was your inspiration as well.

When I read the line,"Ginny pressed her hips into his, and he bit down hard on his lip. Her hands fell from his shoulders and moved towards a zipper" I knew you had to be influenced by brand new. Then I read the rest and i kept thinking, wow, I wonder if anyone else is catching the allusions here. But then at the bottom you wrote the lyrics. Great job, i love brand new and I love this one-shot. Thanks for writing.

YOU BLOODY ROCK!!! I loved this story when I first read it and I didn't even remember the song. I had to go and find it and listen to it again. Then I lost the story someplace in the big bad internet and couldn't find it again (woe was me) because I'm a silly duffer. Eventually I asked for help and I'm so glad I did. Yay! *happydance* I'm not even sure that that makes any sense but oh well. *shrug* Squeeeee!!! I'm so happy now.

Well...I'm not sure if you've read this type of thing before (my review, that is). I was actually LISTENING to Sic Transit Gloria while reading this. (Destiny, right there--it's a sign!) I can honestly (and with only a touch of shame) say that I shed a tear. While there are people in the world that do not believe Ginco (Ginny-X-Draco, of course!) could ever be a canon pairing, I believe that it is people like you that make fanfiction in general into so much more--you have helped Ginco blossom into a work of art. Thank you. ~ CH

I love the way that your story really does communicate the words of the song, but takes it farther then the literal meaning of the words. You manage to understand and manipulate the feeling expressed by the very talented band, and relate it to Draco and Ginny's relationship. Everytime I hear this song, its so powerful it makes my heart ache, and now, your words are so powerful they have the same effect.

That was bloody great. Perfect how Draco knew he loved her. Perfect how he took control, made her realize she didnt want to hurt him--to hurt herself. You've done a brilliant job. EB

a great fic for a brilliant song. I love Brand New, and it's very rare to see one of their songs being used. I really liked it.

this was a sad story but at the same time it gave me a very content feeling. i dont know if that makes a damn bit of sense but it does to me. i sorta like how you dont get a lot of background info so you have to fill in the bits and pieces by yourself and im glad that in the end she loved him too.

It seems wrong somehow to tell you that this was lovely, and yet that was my first instinct. This Draco is unfamiliar to me - so remorseful and aching - and it made me hurt for him. Your words are so crisp; I felt like I was right there with them. Nicely done, as always.
