I actually really liked the plotline to this story, however I felt it could've been more deeply written. Nonetheless, it was still very good, and I really enjoyed it. :)

I definitely didn't know or even suspect that it was your first fic when I read it. The scene with Pansy's death was sort of confusing and stuff, but wow. You still got the message across.

Hey, it was really good for a first fic! And you finished, too! Bravo. I liked that ending, I think. I liked that it was D/G in the end (happily, I mean) and that they temporarily put the issues aside to simply celebrate the joy of being alive. Poor Ginny, though, with the whole waiting bit. That's just cruel. And Draco's got a lot of explaining to do, but I'm glad that they're together at the end. :)

Ego and ID? Wow, really getting into the shrink bits...going to keep reading, hoping you added a A/N for your younger readers! (Interesting way to think of the Harry-Ron relationship.) And whoa...what a kiss. Again, poor Ginny. Being left in the dark isn't much better.

Poor Ginny. It does look really bad for Draco, but I think I'll wait to give a verdict on that one until the next chapter. You're very good at making both sides seem wronged and rightfully upset.

I didn't realize this had been your first fan fic. It was excellent. Off to read the rest of your fics.

I love the way you write. I'd quote the sentences I found to be the most beautiful like others have done, but I'm afraid I'd have to quote whole pages at a time ^_^

I *love* the moment he walks out of the room with Dumbledore, and then kisses her. It just kills me every time (because I realized I definitely have read this before). I also love the moment Ginny spots him on the battlefield. Sigh. I'm so glad this has a happy ending. The murder of Pansy scene was so vague it was a bit tough to understand, but once I did...wow. Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Wow, what a review! Thanks. I actually wrote the whole story around the scene where he kisses her at 12 Grimmauld Place. Just couldn't get that one out of my head. Glad you enjoyed it.

Your writing is so lovely; you have a real knack for beginning things. The first paragraph of this chapter is great, and I adore the line "it's going to be a long goddamn life." You really know how to get a feeling across. Poor Ginny.

Okay, I can't believe I haven't read this until now. *shakes head in disbelief* This is great. I absolutely love your style of writing...

I agree, this story needs a lot more reviews than it's gotten so far. I like your style, and the last line is classic. :)

huhuhu...:'c again, i have to bring out this line in particular since it really hit me: There would be time for the hospital wing and treatment, but for now he held her close as darkness fell all around. that scene where ginny looked for draco amdist the blanket of bodies in the field reminded me of a scene in 'gone with the wind'. brilliant work!

Author's Response: Wow! A comparison with Margaret Mitchell? That's a compliment. Thanks for your reviews. I really appreciate it!

that was so sad...:'c i love this line especially: She saw that he had a choice. He saw no choice. ~*~perfect~*~

Author's Response: Thanks!

Why hasn't this gotten any reviews?!?! It's a good story. In particular, this line. The fallen were taken elsewhere, to a makeshift morgue in the dungeons. Ginny did not see Percy or Charlie when they were brought in from the field. She would learn of their stories later. She would learn their stories later... That was just a wonderful line.

Author's Response: I am so HONORED that you read my fic and liked this line in particular. I know the style of the story is a little out of the mainstream. I am a HUGE fan of yours and am in love with Before The Storm. Thanks for making my day!

This is really powerful. I like how you chose just a few scenes from their relationship but were able to make it seem like you told more. Well done!

Author's Response: Wow! What a compliment. That is exactly what I trying to achieve. This stuff really works.
