I enjoyed that a lot. It was really original, and a nice take on a Draco/Ginny relationship. Ginny was a stripper without seeming cheap or tawdry, and both she and Draco's personality showed through the dialogue. Wonderful job.

I really liked your story and especially the mood. I liked how fast the scenes were cut to open new ones. There had been genuinely funny lines (Pansy rocks!! I'm going to quote her sometime) that I loved and I wish to read more from you.
P.S. I think the whole private dance thing reminded me of Closer which on my books is a plus.

Was very pleasantly surprised :) I've always loved exploring Draco and Blaise's reaction to the more earthy muggle attractions like clubs and strip joints. I've seen the club ones, but this is the first one I've read that has Draco and Ginny coming together perfectly in the racy atmosphere in a plausible and classy way. Really, really liked it and will look for more of your writing. Good job!!

Great work, Dee! Interesting story and nicely told. I liked the scene in the office when he started thinking of her at random. There was one part where the word 'hip' got repeated accidentally (just before the constable yells at them), but as a whole, it's really good. I loved it! :)

oh this was lovely. I hadn't had too high expectations because The title made me think of a song, and oh no Songfic! But i read it any way and It was lovely, and far exceeded my expectations. Your chracterizations are very spot on. Is this a one shot? I loved the amiguity of the ending, that draco and ginny were seeming to get together but maybe not. ANyways I have nothing but admiration for this story.

Very interesting setup to have them get together. But I wonder if there was a double meaning when she says she's got what she wanted. I very much like the no-nonsense style of writing where everything just happens and doesn't pause to fill out unnecessary details. Keep it up =) Rea.

Can't remember the last time I reviewed, but just had to for this. Loved your Draco. Adored your Ginny. Dialogue natural. Completely satisfying one-shot, which is so hard to do. I'd have liked a raunchy, ridiculously NC-17 sex scene ;) but tact worked here. Enough sexual tension in just the descriptions alone to carry it through. The stripper thing worked great in this. Actually, made me go put on Wyclef's "Perfect Gentlemen" for the hell of it. D/G needs breaths of fresh air like this. Hope to see more from you soon.

I am glad you made Ginny confident and strong...it was great to see her in control. Loved the Pansy/ Draco moment at the wedding. While I am completely loyal to the D/G ship, I love the sexual tension in the friendship between Draco and Pansy.
This was a great story. Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: I've always favoured a strong Ginny; when I read OotP she just seemed perfectly what I'd imagined! And I also have always liked Pansy. There's such delightfully bundled tension between her and Draco - tension of all sorts. Thanks for the lovely words, glad you enjoyed it!

Loved it. I don't know whether to be pleased or pissed. I wrote a stripper Ginny fic myself about a year and a half ago and never finished it. Oh well, I guess great minds think alike and it's quite a bit different from yours. I loved your Ginny. Very independant and somewhat defiant. Draco was well done too and I loved the club scenes and how you wrote teh lap dance. You did a very acurate depiction, as my hubby and I went to a stip club once and paid for the 'private dance' too. Very hot! You did a great job, BRAVA! Now I guess I'll have to go finish my stripper Ginny fic and get it posted too. You've inspired me! CURSE YOU! And I'm in the middle of writing another fic, so I wonder if I can handle writing two fics at once. ACK!
Author's Response: Was discussing with a fandom friend how much we like stripper fics - it's an underapperciated subgenre, I think. *G* Would love to see yours! (As for accuracy - my beta and I had many hilarious conversations pooling our stripper knowledge and experience, which from me was all second-hand. So it's absolutely great to hear I got it right!)
