oh my god, that was one heck of a freakishly fantastic story! neville? who knew!

Author's Response: *snickers* Having Neville be the bad guy was the idea that started this all off. Still, it went into all kinds of dark directions before I could tie it off neatly. I'm happy that it was still suspenseful; I thought I might've given him away too soon.

what the heck just happened?! Oh my god this is insane, but i love it!

Author's Response: :D It's a twisted idea that started off this story, and it went all downhill from there. :) I'm glad you're enjoying it so far.

Wow. Wonderful story, Eustacia. :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. It was pretty dark when it started, and I was afraid that I rushed the ending a bit. But really, that was the only way I could think of to make it a happy ending. :)

it was good...but I got lost somewhere along the way...I didn't even suspect Neville! Well written! But wait, what about Hermione?

Author's Response: Unfortunately, time didn't reverse for everyone. That means Hermione still got attacked. :(

Love this story...Not usually my cup of tea, but just fantastic...
N it makes me feel smart because I knew who was doing it the whole time...er...well, at least since the second chapter...

Author's Response: Ah well. *hands over a biscuit* This is for getting it right. I guess I didn't make it much of a mystery. :)

wow. that was really amazing. well done. everything was kinda in a blur for a bit at the end but i re read it and now i get it! lol, congrats

Author's Response: I think it was a bit of a rush ending, since there was such a large gap between the first few chapters and the last. I think I lost some momentum there.

This is rather ... difficult to come to terms with. You start out with happy lovey hoochy koochy things then you get all dark and then the end is lacking a certain Je ne se. I dont find any real resolution to the thing because it comes to an abrupt halt. I dont know what happens to Neville if he is forgiven IF there was another guy doing the killing the one in Ginny's class and also I dont get to see how things develop with the fist hint of plot you gave with Draco needing to continue the family line and all that. Perhaps a sequal? I dont know... It was really good in everything I just didnt feel like everything was completed. :(

Author's Response: It took me a while to get to the ending, so I probably lost some of the momentum I started the story with. This was the ending I originally had in mind. Perhaps the execution was a little flat, but I hadn't planned a sequel.

Ooooh, I really hope you haven't given up on this fic. It's been a long time since I've read anything -- original fic or fanfic -- in which I've been so anxious to find out how things turn out. The way you've managed to create and sustain the feeling of suspense is quite remarkable.

I hope to see an update soon!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm trying to keep the atmosphere nice and creepy, and to make it not obvious who it is. :)
