Aaaw, that is how I always picture Draco with Ginny. Needy and pleading for her to save him, although neither of them know how she can do that. It's so raw and real and beautiful. Once again, I am awed by you. Keep up the good work.

I knew you said Draco would get weird, well weirder (personally I didn't think he was all that weird before) but it really startled me that he started to hit her. It was almost out of nowhere and then all of the who do you belong to stuff. It was very sudden. I'd like to see more of the motives for this behavior. He was almost kind before, now he's just violent. In any case, I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Your skill is unprecedented.

Your story plot is great and most of the writing is superb but why does Ginny have to say "Oh." so many times? It makes her seem extremely daft and is quite annoying. Other than that, wonderful story!

Yep, this is definitely the best story you've written yet. The subtleties in both Draco and Ginny's characters are amazing. I'm starting to think that that's really the key to writing well about them. We end up with so many questions about their true characters, because we never see enough of who they really are in their portrayals in canon-- just tantalizing hints. So fanfic about Draco and Ginny has to expand on those hints, and flesh them out, or it really isn't very interesting. Now normally, I have to say that I don't care for pregnant!Ginny fics at all. It usually seems like the author threw it in there because they couldn't really think of what else to do. But here, it makes sense. It ramps up the tension a lot. It throws in so many extra complications. Ginny loves Draco even though she knows what he is and what he does (although I still don't think she knows the worst.) And even if she was "rescued," I don't see how she could ever disentangle herself from him now-- she's going to have his baby!! We can see that this D/G is doomed, and also that Draco is probably doomed (I don't know about Ginny, though.) But we still want to know how it all plays out. It's kinda like watching a train wreck.

Author's Response: You have no idea how much I like reading your reviews. I really love your writing, so it very flattering to know you read what I write. I'm not always crazy about prego!Ginny either, unless it's the point of the story. However, (speaking of trains) you are on the exactly right path. Draco, no matter how he expresses it, loves Ginny, and now she is going to be completely "his". And if she is truely his, then we can assume that those around Draco will have to recognize that, which could be good for Ginny. Possibly. I think I know how this story ends, but I'm not sure, because honestly, what good can come of them? They are doomed, at least in some way. Sometimes it irritates me that I write Ginny giving into him, but I think she knows she doesn't have a choice - it makes her life easier to give into him. And you're right about the rescuing as well. What good would it do her now? Okay, I'll stop now because I'm talking about these characters as if I know them personally! Thanks for the review.

I love it!!! It was sooo good. What he got her was soo sweat. I can't decide wether or not I'm upset with Draco or happy that he took her. Oh well., Update soon!!!!!

Well this was definitely worth the wait! The characterizations and evolving emotions were very well written so your hard work paid off. I can't remember if I've reviewed before so I'll say maybe ahain that I love your Draco , he's one of the best and most canon like versions that i have ever read and even if Ginny seems a bit OOC every now and again her emotional journey still seems believable. I'm also glad the whole reason he kidnapped her finally came up and his birhtday gift to her was so perfect. The only thing that seemed a little off was her pregnancy, but a good pregnancy can be interesting I'm excited to see where you're going with it and I can only hope that his response to her secret isn't that he's asleep please please please! Thanks for the update and I can't wait for the next one.

Author's Response: Sometimes writing this Ginny irritates me - particularly when she gives into Draco so easily, but if I try to think about it realistically, I think she knows that it makes her life so much easier just to give into him. The pregnancy is important (and no, she won't have twins) but only because it will give Draco 100% control. As for the I love you, well, we'll have to see! Thanks for the review!

Argh! Can we say "unhealthy relationship"? And yet, so compelling. He wants her to save him, and I think that in wanting that, he asks for what no other human being can give him. I honestly have to say that I'm not sure if Draco could even save *himself* at this point. I don't know if there's any power on earth that could save him. Still, he asks it of Ginny, because he must. And she loves him, because she doesn't have any other choice. By this point, it's not that *he* isn't giving her any other choice, but that she really *can't* choose anything else. But what would her feelings really become if she actually could get out of the situation?? So many interesting questions. This has become a seriously complex D/G fic.

Why do I get a feeling that something bad might happen to Draco? NO PLEASE! Even though he's a maniac and stuff but ack, Ginny needs to be happy! Please update soon! Thanks :)
