You commented about Ginny acting like a 'mad person'. I think that Raspberry, apple, cranberry juice has another little flavor in it. I'm wondering if Draco had a potion on hand; is it possible to charm a drink? I mean at dinner Ginny said she had no idea why she felt that way. "Maybe I'm being ridiculous." Draco quickly said "Then I take it you're ready to reasonably discuss what we're going to do about this?" He seemed to know to much about her calm demeanor. Also when he was ranting about Ginny leaving without leaving a note, he seemed to have a moment of clarity about why she wasn't more concerned about leaving the villa. And of course, as soon as they got back he went to get her a 'drink'. Ginny's going to be so pissed. I'm sure Draco is just trying to keep her calm. I mean who hasn't wished they had something to calm somebody down when the started flying off the handle. Heck, I wish I had some 'joy juice' when days get stressful. The kind that leaves no hangovers or bad side effects-just makes
you feel all fuzzy :)
I'm wondering about the whole pregnancy
thing. I mean unless the 'muggle device'
failed she shouldn't really be having mood swings yet should she.

Okay. So I just went and read the other reviews for this chapter. And Golden Fawke's comment made me think. There does seem to be something fishy about those drinks. I only hope that he's dosing her with "happiness" if that makes sense, because she does seem to be quite cheerful after she takes those drinks...Hopefully nothing that would end their relationship and hurt ginny's trust of draco. and does that mean that she won't be pregnant, because the happiness is caused by the drinks and not because it's real, and she's really sad in reality? But then again, she's happy at a lot of times even when she hasn't drank anything...ahhhhh so much that needs to be revealed! I hope the next chapter will reveal all. And I am really going to stop now, or else I'll go on rambling forever.

YOU UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, that just makes me so happy. Have I told you lately how much I love, adore, love, love, love, love, LOVE this fic? Okay, well, I'm telling you now. This is just amazing. I'm SO happy that Draco and Ginny have put definite plans for their future. Except, now I'm super scared that something bad will happen. Like, maybe Ginny will get cold feet and Draco's heart will be absolutely shattered and then he'll leave her, and she'll do something stupid like go back to Harry, and THEY WILL NEVER BE TOGETHER! Okay, I should probably calm done. I know that as one of my favorite authors, you would never do that to me and my poor heart. Right? *looks pleadingly at the author* I just really hope that this story has a happy ending. Normally, I would scope out an author's other stories, to see if the author had a trend for either dominantly angsty or dominantly happy endings, etc. But i think I've read just about every one of your stories on FIA and it seems to be a split of both. Brightside and Lies made me cry, and Forgiveness and Lip Gloss made me smile and cheer. So, I really hope this is one of your stories where D/G end up together. I don't know what I'd do if you wrote a Brightside ending. I would probably throw myself over a metamorphical cliff with despair. Oh, and I really, really, really, really, really hope that GInny's pregnant. I know sixteen is young, and the conservative part of me is saying no,, but the 99.999999% of me is saying, "yes", and trying to justify that in the wizarding world, they "become adults" much faster. In a year, technically, she'll be an adult, so it's really not that bad. Plus, I think a big, humongous part of my decision is being influenced by the fact that I love D/G children. Like, ADORE. Boys that look like Draco and Girls that look like Ginny, with a mixture of their personalities. Ahhhh, so i really hope she's pregnant. She definitely sounds pregnant with her mood swings. Now, if only something would happen to her, like she'd start throwing up or something...Anyways, I am just so excited for the next chapter. I can't WAIT to see them get married and for Ginny to find out whether or not she's pregnant or not. Fantastically amazing job and please update soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I read Forgiveness, and it was soooooooooo good! I loved it! I originally skipped over it, because I didn't know how you were going to make a D/G relationship when draco had graduated, but *sighs* i really loved it. Second favorite, I believe, after this amazing fic.

first of all, i'm so happy to see this updated. i almost fell off my bed i was so excited. i love this chapter. he so perfectly domesticated, its sexy as hell. making dinner and breakfast *sighs and falls off the bed* perfectly. i how i love them as a couple. hopefully she isnt preggers. as much as i love D/G-the-next-generation, i like the fact that she enjoys walking around naked in their home [and lets face it, draco wont mind]. plus their mantlepiece portrait isnts exactly rated G.

Oh my. I have read all of your stories multiple times (forgiveness is one of my favorites because I just love the fuzzy fluff), but this one is my new favorite!!
I almost passed this one up because I don't like to read in-progress works because I tend to wallow when authors don't update, but I am so glad that I didn't!
I really love your characterization of Draco and Ginny. When Draco tells Ginny that he is hers I think it is perfect because I can just see the spoiled child who must claim everything as his. Also, I love that you show a bit of spite in Ginny when she interacts with Ulrich.
Oh, also, I like that you create new characters like Grace and Har. They bring a "newness", so to speak, to the plotline and really make it cool to 'meet' new characters.
At first I felt a little worried because Ginny is only 16 and Draco, 17, but my qualms were completely unwarranted. The characters are so strong that you forget about age quickly and focus only on their story and their love.
I am going to wrap this up, but I just really wanted to let you know that I absolutely am in love with this story and hope that you continue with the strong story line. It is wonderfully refreshing to see a story with a new and inventive plotline that takes place away from the canon main characters.
Again, keep up the amazing work!!

And I am sooooo happy that the next chapter will be up soon, even if there is no smut. i hope draco and ginny can remain strong through all the difficulties. Hot or what??!!!! Goodness... but what a great chapter. I loved their banter at the ball, and i thought it was so sweet that they couldn't let go of each other in the days after the earthquake.
I enjoyed the chapter immensely, and i thought it was great that Draco & Ginny were getting along so well. I'm not really sure what else to say, I feel like I've got writers block! But I hope Graco & Har are ok!

Oh. My. Goodness. Can I just say that I am soooo glad that you updated. Just last week, I was waiting for an update to Vineyard Summer, and I went onto your page and read a great amount of your stuff. I don't know if you'll get the reviews in your email or not, so I thought that I might as well just review a couple of them along with Vineyard Summer.
First of all, the fic that really made me cry was Mr. Brightside. I could feel my heart breaking when Ginny married Oliver, because I felt like she was making a mistake. But then, towards the end, when Draco died, I just cried my eyes out, and Harry bashed a bit in my head for killing Draco. I was really hoping that you could bring Draco back from the dead, because I want D/G to have their happy ending. :)
And then another one( or two) that I really enjoyed was the one you have as the Season Series. I was really hoping that you would add to it and finish it, because I'm desperate for D/G to have their happy ending outside of Hogwarts.
But, without a doubt, Vineyard Summer is my all time favorite of yours. It's one of my all-time favorites too. I can't believe there ever was a time when I actually passed this one over... I'm really glad I pursued it past the first paragraph.
And about this chapter, can I just say that I loved it? It was so amazing. But my favorite was the smut parts. The public handjob was incredibly steamy, but NOTHING beats Draco and Ginny having sex on a hotel couch...in public...where everyone can see and hear them... I think I've already read tons of smut where they do it on a bed. But D/G smut in risque places like the floor or in public is just ten times hotter.
And I read what other reviewers have said about Ginny being pregnant, and is it weird that I really want that to happen? It doesn't even feel like they're teenagers, and something about adorable little blond, grey-eyed D/G offspring just makes me happy.
Anyways, I think I've rambled on long enough for you to know how much I love this fic, and how happy I am that you are updating regularly. I think you did a fantastic job, and I hope you update the next chapter soon, with hopefully, tons more smut and plot details about Ginny and Grace and Har. (Btw, I hope nothing has happened to them, because I like the setting right now. I hope they stay in Italy forever, in Draco's villa instead of going back to Britain)

Author's Response: wow, thank you! i don't get the email reviews so i will go check them :) Brightside was one of my favorite things to write, and i really wanted to write 2 more pieces, from Ginny & Draco's POVs, but no matter how much I've tried over the years (yes years), it just doesn't come to me the way Brightside did. As for the Seasons, I usually have something going on with them. There's another Halloween piece that's currently about half way done & it's set after Hogwarts. I thought I would fill this fic up with smut because there's not going to be any for a few chapters because things are about to get really messy. I too would like them to stay happily in the Villa forever, but that would be boring, don't you think? ;-) The next chapter has already been written & sent off to my super betas, so it'll be up sooner as opposed to later. ginny + pregnancy = well, i suppose i shouldn't give away the plot. draco's already trying to convince her to get married and the poor girl is only 16!!!!! could you imagine being married at 16? yikes! ok to be honest, being married at 16 probably would have been much more appealing to me then, as opposed to how it appeals to me now (don't ask my age) which is not at all!! but that's because there's no real life draco and fan fiction has given me warped views on romance! i'd make a great case study for psychology students! LOL and thank you for the long review! the details of what you liked is always more helpful than something like "post the next chapter asap"!!!!!!
Wow! So much has happened! I think that Ginny is either pregnant or under a love potion of sorts. But I'm more inclined to believe that she is pregnant. I'm guessing that Grace and Har aren't alright, but I'm really hoping that they are! I wonder what the Mayor has to say to them. I can't wait to read more! :)
