I just read The Poisonwood Bible this summer, and I was very excited when I saw the reference!
Rachel is one of my favorite characters of all time! I LOVE how you work that in :)
Author's Response: Oh Rachel! She was such a complex character. I adored her as well, although the youngest (Ruth?) was my absolute favorite. I constantly try to make references to my favorite books & songs (usually in the chapter titles). I'm glad you enjoyed it!

OMG i almost died when i saw my name in your author's note, my ears hurt from smiing so much. thank u. as always, brilliant chapter. the happy, the scared, the uncertain, the certain. all the emotions. i understand ginny's apprehension but i understand draco's certainty. draco is a spoilt slytherin who had a difficult but charmed life. he has to be moody and snarky but tender and gentle too and i think u capture that well. he treats ginny like his fave porcelain tea set that he doesnt want to damage but cant enough of. a great charcterization of both. i love it. cant wait for the next update. :D

LOL your review was a relief because i had just mentioned i was wondering why people didn't review the previous chapter so much and i got a response that said one person was put off by the violence. i felt a little bad, but at the same time, this story is extremely naughty and that wasn't just applying to bedroom action! so i was relieved that you "got" the draco and ginny characters! its awesome when people get what you have tried to make them see, so i thank you VERY much for that! i'm glad you think i can capture the multiple dimensions of their personalities :D thanks again!

I'm not going to lie; I still think they need to seriously work through some of those issues. I kind of hope they don't get married right away. But I don't know what direction you're going in, so I'll just wait to see what happens! A good chapter, nonetheless. I like how you write about what Ginny wears. I can picture it perfectly.
Author's Response: they have SO many issues. i think that's why its fun for me to write them as teenagers still. i can give them grown up issues to deal with, but not equip them with the grown up mentality needed to deal with them. for me, that equals much more dramatic fun. i get a kick out of writing about the clothing and the food. i know that JKR already formed these characters for us, but it's fun to elaborate and make them really visible!

You know its funny Draco in fan fictions is always possessive and intense in everything he does, but for some reason I always picture him being more apathetic and aloof. But then again that wouldn't make for very good stories. I really enjoy this story, I actually let out a pathetic squeal when I saw it in my inbox, so keep updating as you can, and I will keep reading...and squealing probably as well.
Author's Response: in the books, he really is portrayed that way, but you are right. if he stayed that way, it would be boring and ginny would end up looking pathetic! i am writing the next chapter now, and i'll do my best on it. thanks so much for your lovely comments!

i kinda felt he was going to propose after the sex part, but i loved that she isnt sure about it. and also, kudos to the dragon analogy haha, that was great. very good chapter, i'm dying to knw what happend to grace and har.

I didn't review the last chapter because the violence disturbed me and seemed very out of character with what you've shown us of Draco up until then. I think the story called for fluffy for the last chapter and instead it was populated with all sorts of dark themes: Ulrich, pimp...
Author's Response: Thanks for your honesty. The story did start off very fluffy & while I'm sure it will have a happy ending, things are going to get bleaker for a bit!

I like your idea for a story line it's very intriguing but I think you need to work on double checking your chapters before you post and continuity. I have found several instances where sentences don't make sense because of an odd word that could of just been typed by mistake. Also in an earlier chapter Ginny claims she hasn't slept with anyone and then later explains she slept with Harry? I don't mean to be rude or anything I just have a hard time continuing to read with such discontinuity, it makes me think how consistent will the rest of the story be. Other than that I've enjoyed the story so far.
Author's Response: you aren't rude at all. Draco calls Ginny out on lying to him about not sleeping with Harry in a previous chapter - the one where she finds the letter from Snape. I have 2 new betas who have worked with me on the last few chapters (as I had to fire my previous one. she sucked) so that's why the last few chapters are much different than the first many.

*squeals* brownie points for having a "supernatural" reference! that one made me wanna laugh out loud. and they are attractive.... i've seen many a "twilight" reference, so this one definitely impressed me :)
anyway, i kinda felt bad for ginny when ulrich asked her about her "zuhälter," which to me was kinda insinuating something. bad him. you know, on one side i kinda wanted her to go through with it, cuz draco can be such an ass. but then i didn't cuz it was weird seeing ginny with someone else, especially in a g/d fic
well i'm very anxiously awaiting the next update. you really know how to keep people always wanting more ;-)
Author's Response: haha, thanks. it's my absolute favorite TV show, so of course I have to include it! i liked the twilight books but not enough to include them in my d/g work! that's for sure.
Ulrich was insinuating something LOL! he wasn't too sure what Ginny was to Draco. and my beta really wanted me to put them together but I just couldn't. i love my d/g too much to let them be with anyone else.

Haha, omg, it was just a dream! Thanks goodness! And I'm sooo glad that Draco and Ginny are taking steps to forgive each other. I think every relationship is built on trust. There's a certain degree where arguments will help the couple improve and become closer. I'm really glad to see that it's playing out that way. Really good job! I think this chapter really redeems the whole ulrich thing in the last chapter. Can't wait for you to update again!
