I think I may be the only person who's picked up that this is largely derived from Lost. But I think it was incredibly clever of you to relate Sayid's story to Draco. It actually makes a lot of sense. I can't wait to see where you take this.
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you like it. In the first chapter, I did state I got the idea from that particular episode of LOST in the author's notes. However, I don't know how many people here watch LOST so i am glad you like the derivative. :)

This is really quite good. You have created a believable and interesting plot. Your writing is concise but descriptive, and the world you have taken us to is intriguing. The lack of recognization on Draco's part was refreshing, instead of the cliched: "There she was--the Weaselette--he'd never thought he'd see her again," and Ginny's backstory is different than usual, and fascinating. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thanks! I am glad you like it. Thanks for the concise and descriptiveness is in large part to Maggs, who cuts out a lot of the crap I tend to leave in! ;) Chapter 2 is up and next chapter will be flaskbacks so you can get a better feel of the events of the past years.
