YIKES! What a horrid situation... and Mr. & Mrs. Weasley - what's up with them?!! Guess they think that it's all in the name of good for their 'ill girl i presume... still - yikes! Poor Ginny... hope things get better for her soon.
Looking forward towards the next chapter - great work!

Aww I loved this chapter! Especially the paragraph that starts with "And so, when the first light of dawn..." We're reading stuff by Imagists in English and that paragraph was just...wow. Awesome. I'm glad she left the Burrow - you outgrow your family after a while and your ideas etc change. I'm getting SO addicted to this story!

I've just read this all in one go and I have to say that I love it. Draco's interaction with his mother and the whole behind the scenes with the Malfoys you have going. Ginny and Draco's relationship is also very genuine and believable and it's developing at a particularly credible pace. Over all the story has a very unique spin to it and I specially love how you make your characters flawed and all the more real and unique for it and the way you display their inner and exterior struggles...you're handling very complex and intricate interactions masterfully so mad props for you on the amazing job!!!

Ah, that's too bad. Had to happen though. Poor girl, it was just a slip of the tongue! A horrible, incriminating slip, but a slip none the less. Fantastic job as usual, I don't even realize I'm reading it, it's like being there.

I loved this chapter. Fred and George were amazing and Draco, he was...suprisingly convincing when he talked about his dad. Great job, keep it up!

oh my gosh,finally, a post-HBP D/G fic thats actually good! and hasnt been abandoned after three chapters!
i *love* this fic. its awesome. the ways you've had the events unfold after the war, the way the world has turned out, is just as it should be, and needless to say, your way of writing d/g is completely realistic and true to their characters. i cant wait for the next chapter, i hope it comes out soon!

Wow, I've been putting off reading this since it's so long, but I'm absolutely entranced. you're a fabulous writer, everyone is so nicely in character (even Harry, he can be a bit of a jerk) and I feel so frustrated on Ginny's behalf and Draco's! Wonderful job, hope you keep updating regularly.

I mean...you can't really blame Ron and the Weasleys for being overprotective and wanting to believe Ginny is innocent and clean and that Draco is the one to blame. It's a family love thing, and its especially hard to be the youngest AND the only girl. Anyway, I'm excited to see what Rita Skeeter has to say about the Weasley/Granger wedding...I have a feeling you've implied something about it before, but I'm sick as a dog and my brain isn't working too well right now. I do hope that Draco and Ginny (I'm getting ahead of the whole story here but anyway) stay together and happy. I've been reading some fanfiction from another series where the couples always seem to break up and it makes me cry. So no major angst, okay??? I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: No, you can't blame them, and showing that was important to me (in spite of the D/G-ness of this story :) - family loyalty and love isn't rational, and doesn't function on a reasonable level. Therefore, in their eagerness to protect Ginny, they make mistakes, themselves. No one is really innocent, and I find it rather more interesting to look at the characters this way.
I kind of want to tell you everything will end in sunshine and flowers and happiness, but there *is* some angst ahead. However... Well, I can't really tell without giving too much away *g* But believe me, I'm a sucker for happy endings, too.

great chapter! i think its very plausible that ginny would say mudblood without thinking after having voldemort in her head for a year. the man had issues no amount of chocolate can fix. great update! acolades *salutes*
Author's Response: That is one part of it, yes, and she *has* been spending time with Draco and his books. The company you keep rubs off, whether you want it to or not. Of course Ginny isn't like Draco, when it comes to racial purity, but the slip-up is just one aspect of her issues with her family, right now.

That was very powerful. I think that was one of the most in-character "first time" scenes I've ever read. I love the way you've captured the despair and rage that they both, in their different ways, are experiencing. Bravo.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think they are very similar, in the way they experience intense emotions - they're both violently passionate. And even if they're not quite on the same side, they can bond over that. :)

Sometimes you post faster than I can read it! Not that I'm complaining. I'm always very excited to see this because I can depend on reading something entertaining and just plain good. And I especially like the progress made here between Ginny and Draco. Oh, and feel free to use Boy-Who-Must-Be-Incredibly-Jealous to your heart's desire. I love people's reactions to DG...though not as much as I love them together. The entire library scene was superb.

I loved this chapter! This story,is interesting, Draco is showing his softer side while still staying true to who Draco malfoy really is, and, Ginny is showing her darker side. I really like it. Keep it up!
