very in tune with canon - i really like it!
Author's Response: It always surprises me when a reviewer says a story of mine is in tune with canon. I've never really tried to make things canon, I just 'go with the flow' so to speak. However, I did feel the need to make the trial as authentic as possible... so I'm glad that you think I did maintain a canonic feel.

Stupid arseholes of the Wizengamot!
But yay for Draco and Ginny escaping!
I don't really see for a lucrative enough plot here to keep this fic going past this chapter.
I mean I love the story line but you've pretty much tied up all ends here (except for Draco saying I love you to Ginny).
The only place this could go is for them to run and eventually be caught. Draco was found guilty and he can't be tried twice (double Jeopardy)
I really liked this story though, and I can't wait to read your other stuff!

That made me giggle. At first I had it so Ginny recognized the younger justice as Percy, but then I omitted it... I didn't feel like adding any more drama than there already was.

If I ever got around to making this a chaptered fic, I'd basically go into detail with all the events outlined in the oneshot. But yeah, I tried my best to make it a well-rounded oneshot so I geuss having the ends tied up means I succeeded. ^.^

Hmm, this would actually be interesting as a longer story. Detailing what they go through to prove Draco innocent, etc. Good job. I like it.
Author's Response: Yeah, I've thought fleshing out the details and adding on to it, but I've never been good with chaptered fics... I've yet to finish one. However, if I manage to finish the three I'm working on right now, this is definately something I'm thinking about working on.

It was adorable. I think a chaptered fic where they live on the run would be great -- until eventually we find that the whole trial was corrupt and a farce... yes, yes, you should continue! ;)
