lovely ending... though I did want oliver to come out at the very end and make a comment... sigh we can't have it all.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. But Oliver was probably with someone else more in tune with his preferences! Thanks for reading and for the review.

I'm so sad to see it end, even though there's still something left of the story. I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading and for the review.

This whole story is captivating; I've learned about wine in the most pleasant of ways- accompanied with a D/G fic! Bravo! Thanks for all your time and effort in writing such a unique story!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed both the story and the wine info. It has certainly been fun to write! Thanks for reading and for the review.

What a wonderful scene! It was fluffy, which was fine, but it also seemed really honest, with Draco struggling to get his words out--and Ginny not really helping him along. And *what* Draco said was pretty moving, too.

I don't know how I feel about this being the end...I sort of feel as if we didn't really get to know Ginny's personality. I also expected the story to be a bit longer, so that we'd see them fall in love.

But I'm not disappointed. The ending was so sweet and promising that I did come away with a happy, satisfied feeling.

Thanks for writing this!!

Author's Response: You're right that we've only seen glimpses of Ginny's personality. But the story was really about the transition in Draco's perspective. That arc is over with now. And I'm afraid you are going to have to use your imagination to fill in the details of their falling in love. Though I expect it will follow along the lines of most couples. And you'll get a glimpse of it at least one aspect of their relationship in the epilogue. Thanks for reading and for your extensive comments! I very much appreciate them.

Awwah, I'm so sad that this is over, but it was wonderful while it lasted! The ending was very befitting the story. Draco can now drink life fully with Ginny by his side! *happy sigh*

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed this story, and that the ending made you sigh. That makes me give a happy sigh of my own. Thanks for the review!

I'm not quite sure I understand the entire gist of this fic yet, but the wine guidelines are fantastic! I am enamored with your Narcissa Malfoy and I would finish this out to the end even if it were terrible (which it is not) just for the Tasting Notes! Granted, I'm only legal to drink outside the U.S. but I'm happy to know what to look for now!

Author's Response: I'm afraid that this really is just another cliche D/G fic hiding behind a shiny new veneer. It isn't very complex at its heart, as I'm sure you'll see once I post the next chapter. (I'm in the middle of moving, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to post again.) I'm particularly glad that you are enjoying the tasting notes. I was a little hesitant to include them at first, not knowing whether people would appreciate them, so it is nice to know that you do. Thanks for reading and for the review.

This is a wonderful story! The characterisations are really well done and I love how everything ties into the theme of wine - even down to Draco's moment of 'Clarity'! I can't wait to see what Ginny's response is - and whether she and Oliver ae serious or not.

I take it from your references to Californian wines that you're from the US. I'm from Australia - the 'other' New World wine country just wondering if you've had many Australian wines?

Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying the story--and especially happy that you like the characterizations. I am from the US, and learned to drink wine when I lived in California, so most of what I drink is actually Californian. I used to drink quite a bit of Australian Shiraz. But it is harder to get where I live now, and I have developed more of a taste for the Syrah style as opposed to the Shiraz style, so I drink more of that. Thanks for reading and for the reivew!

THAT WAS BRILLIANT! I love Draco at the end. Very humorous. I cant wait to read the next chapter! All the wine notes at the end of the chapters are really interesting. I definitely learned some new things. Please update SOON! We're all waiting with bated breath.

Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying the story so much. I don't know when I'll be able to update next--I'm in the process of moving, so life is a bit crazy right now. But I will try! Thanks for reading and for the review.

This story is a lot of fun. I especially enjoy all the wine tasting notes, they are fascinating to me since wine is a subject I know nothing about. Keep the story and lessons coming!

Author's Response: I'm glad you don't mind learning something along with your D/G. Thanks for reading and for the review!

this is such a wonderful story. i just think the comparison btw woman and wine is brilliant. i love the story even more because you've put so much time and research in to each story. thanks, looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: This has certainly been a fun story to write. I'm glad you like the comparison and are enjoying the story as a whole. Thanks for reading and for the review.

I must say that I am enjoying this story so very much! It takes the typical D/G meet-up fic and gives it a new, different and refreshing twist. It has been a joy to read thus far and I look very forward to each new chapter!

Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying the story! It is nice to know that the wine twist makes it worthwhile. Thanks for reading and for the review!

Yay Draco! It takes him a while, but he gets there eventually. Hmmm, I wonder how difficult Ginny will make it for him, though. *sigh* I suppose I'll just have to wait and see!

Author's Response: I'll try not to make you wait *too* long to find out, but I can't make any guarantees since I am in the process of moving. Thanks for reading and for the review!

Wonderful! Two great chapters in a row, and I don't know how I missed chapter 5 when it came out, but it was nice to get double reading on this story :). I loved Draco's "eureka!" moment, tied as it was to a glass of wine. Pansy's characterization is a nice touch as well -- you know Draco's got it bad when even PP notices. Looking forward to your next!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed both Draco's realization and Pansy's character. Thanks for reading!

Yes, Draco is a prat and a snob and a bit thick in the head. Aferall, it took a brazen Weasley and a barrel over the head to knock some sense into him! So enjoying your tale. I think I have an idea of where Draco's palate might lead him next...or not!

Author's Response: Yeah, I guess Draco really was to dense for the usual blow to the head to make any difference. It did take a whole barrel. Thanks for the review!

i am so in love with your story! the whole bottle/barrel thing was so funny. i though the i'm in love realization was a little abrupt tho.

i am so in love with your story! the whole bottle/barrel thing was so funny. i though the i'm in love realization was a little abrupt tho.

Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Draco's attraction to Ginny has been growing steadily throughout the story, but he has been in denial. This is the chapter where he finally came to terms with the idea. So hopefully it isn't *too* abrupt. Thanks for reading and for the review.

Grr!! I can't believe you left us there. But I have to say--do you think Draco's realization was a bit sudden? I feel like his response was a bit exaggerated...but maybe not. What do you think?

It was a lot of fun, btw, seeing Draco jealous, and I'm interested in Pansy. Will we be seeing any more of her? The annoying, clingy Pansy is so annoying, and even lazy, and I'm glad you didn't fall back on her.

PS- Draco's such a jerk. 'Palate fatigue,' indeed! Though I still adore him.

Author's Response: I am probably a bit biased (I *am* the author, after all), but I think Draco's realization has been building for some time. He has at least noticed the symptoms before, but has been in denial. Up until now, he has always found some justification for his feelings, but he has finally realized that.

I'm afraid that we won't see any more of Pansy in this story, I'm glad you like her!

Yes, Draco *is* a bit of an ass. If he weren't, he wouldn't be Draco. :) Thanks for reading and for the review.

Mmm, peaches, honey and---violets! That sounds so pastoral and summery. Nice to see Draco finally recognizes Ginny's qualities. I look forward to reading how this inspires him.

Author's Response: It took him a while, but he got there eventually! And, yes, Viognier is very pastoral and summery. And very yummy. I highly recommend it! Thanks, as always, for reading and for the review.

Sooooo good! God, this fic could almost make me want take a sip of wine! As I shake myself out of my hazy, post-fic delirium, I would like to send the highest praise your way. What a wonderful, wonderful fic with characters as sublime as that bottle of 1967 Château d’Yquem!

Author's Response: Wow! That is high praise, considering your history. I never intended to drive anyone to drink, though I guess I wouldn't be too put out if it happened. I'm glad you are enjoying the characterizations. Thanks for reading and for the review.
