Abrupt ending. You should have eased into it smoother.
Author's Response: That is what everybody is saying. Maybe I should rewrite the whole story. Whenever I get some inspiration, I can go back and tweak it up a bit.

This was a wonderful story, one that has been told over and over again here in D/G land. However, I felt your version was beautifully written and compelling. I didn't realize it was a one-shot until the end. I wish it wasn't. I think the ending was too fast and too abrupt, but that's okay! It's a gem. Thanks for writing it.
