I loved the ending. The epilogue was nicely done and wrapped up the story perfectly. If only there was a sequel, but I suppose it's good to leave certain things to the imaginative mind! (Nausicaa and Suleiman, anybody?)
Feel a slight sense of loss now that Hesperides' Apple is completed because I've been keeping up with this story for a whopping 3 years! Nevertheless, I look forward to reading more of your newer fanfics. I am confident wouldn't disappoint.

Wonderful! :D an extremely satisfying ending and worth the wait :D
quick side-note: Nausicaa as in From the Valley of the Winds? you being a Ghibli fan would pretty much complete the reasons as to why you're one of my favourite authors :D
but anyways, very sweet ending, beautiful imagery and phrasing as always, and I love the hints of future romance with Suli and Nausicaa :D
I'm heartily looking forward to reading more of your stuff :D

I can't believe it's over. I havent gone to this site very much but was always delighted to receive emails that this story has been updated, so I thank you for continuing and finishing up this story, even though it took some time. I was kind of surprised to see suddenly see an Epilogue (yeah I didnt see it coming) but at the same time, glad.
Anyways, this particular part stood out for me,
"Valerian, I saw you putting a stone in that one!" Ginny bellowed suddenly. "Take it out immediately or you'll have to answer to me!"
It just struck me how very Molly-like Ginny turned out to be and it was a rather touching moment for me. I'm wondering, did you put that in for that purpose?
Anyhow, hope you continue writing. Till the next story! =)
Ps: Saw the family tree and can I just say, "WOW." Love your dedication! :D

*sobs* Its over...NO!!!! I loved it. This was wonderfully fun ride. I loved your take on the characters and your development. I really hope to see some future out takes or can I just imagine Suli and Nausicaa together. So glad that all that she fought for, she won and that she and Draco reached this part in their life. Happy writing on your future projects. :)

Actually, if I understand correctly, the use of thou/thee/thy in old English was the same as tu and toi in French--the informal/familiar way to address someone. And they used "you/your" for more formal times.

Rereading this fic, I was afraid of coming to the part where Draco starts to find out who Ginny is, but this chapter was actually really sweet. The fact that he still feels love for her despite the fact that he knows something fishy is up is a testament to how true his love really is.

I'm afraid I have to offer one correction, since you're obviously going to a great deal of effort to get your historical references and names acccurate. You describe Ba Li Nu as wearing a "kimono", however, kimono are strictly Japanese, and Ba Li Nu is a Chinese name. Given the long-seated prejudgices and tensions between the Chinese and the Japanese, even today intermarriage is almost unheard of. The traditional garment of a Chinese woman would be a cheongsam. Kimono in Japanese literally means "thing to wear" and has a HUGE amount of cultural significance. You can actually infer details about season of the year, marital status, relative age of the intended wearer, and formality of the situation it was intended for simply by looking at details on a kimono. The most formal kimono even have family crests printed on them.

Hooray for a new chapter! It's been a while, so I decided to re-read it, and I'd forgotten how complex a story is. I like some of the routes you're exploring, such as having Widow!Narcissa leave the Manor. It feels like we're in a bit of a transitional place in the relationship, but I'm interested in where it's all going. Keep up the good work.
