Wow, I understand the symbolism and all, but that had to have come from a brilliant mind to come up with it. I give you a very deserved hand.

Your imagery is really nice! You captured the battle of opposite wills very matter-of-factly. I'll be looking forward to more beautiful poetry from you. :)

This is quite a lovely poem. The ending is a bit morbid for me. I kept hoping that it was "Le Petit Mort" that Fire and Ice died of, but even so, there is a nice interplay of quenching and melting, crushing and dousing. Good job.
