It's sad I have this page bookmarked and check it every day to see if there's a new chapter, right? Haha, maybe it is but hey, I think this fic is my guilty pleasure right now.
I don’t usually read HP fics much these days - I have been fairly out of the loop with the D/G scene for a while - but your story... Your story is fun and enjoyable, well written and witty enough that I do keep checking back. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and hope you will continue with the story. I am quite intrigued to see how everything will all play out!

Oh wow, this story is wonderful. I love everything about it. It flows perfectly. It's not rushed and the way Draco and Ginny met and get along is perfect. I just can't wait for the next chapter, which I hope is very soon. Excellent story!

I originally read this story at ginnylovesdraco and I loved it and agreed with the judges - this story is definitely worthy of first place. Seeing the extended version is even better! Having said that, my review is for the overall story (that I read at livejournal) rather than the parts you posted so far. I hope you don't mind!
There are lots of things I like about this story and your writing. One of the best parts, I believe, is that even though Draco is using the alias Alain Moreau, the reader can tell (even if they didn't know he was Malfoy) that it's Draco from the way he is characterized, from every thing he says to his attitude. I also like how this is a spy/espionage story. Spy!Draco is very sexy... hmm, why am I imagining a Mr. & Mrs. Smith version of Draco/Ginny now? Haha. Another thing I really liked was when Draco's boss said that he was really good at "ferreting" information. ;) I posted a comment on LJ but I was wondering if you purposely inserted that or were you not aware? The fight that ultimately led to the sex was explosive. Loved it. I loved how Draco was so mad at her because it really shows that he truly does care about her. And most of all, I loved how Draco, sneaky and conniving as he is, could not avoid falling into his own trap and eventually fell for her. :) The ending was great too, just as the last line. And though it may sound weird - when I was reading your fic, the D/G moments (Draco getting Ginny to share a room with him, them waking up with their legs intertwined, etc.) were so cute that at some times, I thought I was reading fluff. Your story is far from it though - it's an actual story and a very good one at that. :D
I am hoping that we will get to see more of D/G's marriage in the extended version that you are posting, or maybe a little continuation of what happens after the last line, though the part where you stopped the story is absolutely perfect because it leaves us wanting more.
A few last questions - just out of curiousity, why did Draco decide to become a spy? What was the Saturday assignment? And, should Ginny and Draco decide to get married again, would they be allowed to do it in the "Old Ways"? Or would they not have to do it at all, the Minister just revokes the divorce/annulment and they're married again?
Again, great story, and I can't wait to read the extra bits that you've put into this extended version!

Author's Response: *grins* I'm a fan of reluctant attraction myself, though I think it's very fun to write Draco and Ginny here as having to mime falling in love, only to eventually realize that it's very hard not to believe your own lies.
