I have thought for quite a while that Snape would be a key player in Harry defeating Voldemort. I had never thought of the idea of Harry forgiving him as the key. But it is intriguing and would fit with my thoughts that Snape will sacrifice himself for Harry--that could be the trigger that allows Harry to see that he deserves forgiveness.
