Aw, I'm so glad they mended things in the end. Hopefully their friends can help him get over his 'asshatery' so it won't happen again. ('asshatery'... wha? o_0' )
Anyway, very nice little fic.

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I love the word asshatery. *giggles*

All right, this one is definitely my favorite of yours so far. I’ve got a huge fondness for psychology (it was my major and I’m currently searching out Masters programs in the field). So not only did it tap into a personal interest of mine, but the hidden depth of the story itself was just delicious! I dunno if you meant to do it or not, but was Ginny going through the stages of grief as well!? It certainly appeared to be the case… There were subtle hints to it along the way, though the story was given from more Draco’s POV and so I couldn’t be 100% sure.

Bargaining is a hard one to showcase. I thought you did very well in keeping it restrained and snarky. I think that was the best way to do it, because he could so easily have turned whiney and that doesn’t fit Draco’s character at all!

Okay, so I have to mention – even though it’s got little to do with my actual review – that you used one of my most favorite phrases (“starve in the hedgerows”). I don’t think I’ve ever read that in a fic before and I just about fell out of my chair. And in that same section… “how much will it cost me to end this?” Wow, had I been Ginny, I would have felt slapped across the face with those words.

I adored Blaise in this fic. He was snarky and witty (a lovely combination and my favorite presentation of this character). Thursday night’s section was very, very well written. Without being overly dramatic, the stage of depression was clearly and eloquently displayed.

Pansy’s “but it was a happy sigh” made me grin. It was the an excellent way of tying it all together. (And I got my earlier wish of seeing more of Pansy! I like her as semi-redeemable, which she appeared to be.)

So, here’s another long review – and probably my last for today. Though I’ve very much enjoyed your stories, so I’ll likely be back for more! ;o) I’m glad you haven’t minded my lengthy reviews… I can be a bit wordy, but I love to really get into a story and fully express what I like about it (especially when it’s appreciated). You’re an excellent writer!! I look forward to reading more from you. :o)

Author's Response: Oh my goodness... MIND them? I think you may just need to be my new fandom girlfriend. These are the best reviews I have every gotten. Seriously. Thank you so much for reading and enjoying and then leaving such brilliant reviews! This is one of my VERY favourite fics of mine. The exchange generally does good things for me apparently. I love Blaise/Luna and wanted to feature it and I came across a Pansy/Terry fic once and thought I'd try it here. Starve in the Hedgerows... P&P for the win! ;) Thanks! *smooches*

Very well written story. It is so true that when we do not want to accept our feelings on something, how we become rude and offensive. :) Emotions were very well portrayed. I enjoyed this a lot.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! What a lovely review! I'm glad you liked it! ;)

Ow. My heart was hurting there for a moment. You really have a way of connecting your readers to the characters and I enjoyed every moment-even if I was tempted to tear up!
Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: But it ended happy... so there is no reason to be sad! ;)rnrnThank you so so much for the lovely review. I'm really proud of this one. I have a couple favourites of my own work and this is one of them! ;) Thanks again! ;)

That was great. Draco being in total denial and not realizing that he had fallen in love was wonderful. I felt sorry for Ginny that her own housemates were so mean to her.

Author's Response: Wow! Thanks so so much!! I always appreciate reviews... but when my favourite authors review me I get all fangirly squee-like! Thanks so much for making my night! And yes - I'm not a big lover of the Gryffs in this story... but I can picture them totally acting this way - not supportive at all. Surprisingly, in my head the Slytherins would be MUCH more supportive! ;) I love how Pansy and Blaise knew all along that Draco loved her and they sorta hinted at it in more depth each time they spoke to him. Anyway -- enough from me - I'm SO glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!

Wonderful. I love the torment Draco experienced before he could admit that he was in love with Ginny. I like that Blaise and Pansy were such good friends to him. And I always like Blaise paired with Luna. They just suit. I'm not sure why. Thanks.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I agree with you about Blaise. He belongs with Luna. ;) (Clearly I have read too much Echo/Spankerella fic because now reading him with anyone else seems wrong! ;))

Loved the story. It was cute and totally dreamy that love could do this to Draco. I loved that they all made sure that Draco acknowledge the fact that he was IN LOVE!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I prided myself on my Blaise and Pansy. I love that they would be the kind of friends to hit him over the head and tell him he's being mental! Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's always nice to hear you amused someone! ;)

Ah, DABDA. I have had many plot bunnies in this light, but have never written them. Wonderful fic, and thanks for all you did during the exchange!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! ;) I'm glad you enjoyed it (and the exchange! ;))
