I just thought "this is beautiful." Its so poetic. This is a good piece of writing, not just the silly romantiscised stuff of fanfic. Its really clever and subtle!

Wow. *gestures mutely* This was absolutely beautiful. Lucky Marcia for getting it as a birthday present! The way you portrayed the characters was spot on and I could almost feel Ginny’s wrath emanating from her. My heart ached for Draco, seeing him all lost and bewildered. And when he wakes up again and they’re together, I cried with Ginny. I don’t normally cry at fics, but this was completely and utterly heart-wrenching I couldn’t help it. The ending is so good.I loved it. ^_^ I’ll miss seeing you around the archive and forums! (But will be monitoring we3sisters) Take care.

Author's Response: Aww.... thank you, die Loreley, for the wonderful review. I appreciate it, and I'm glad you found this one worthy. Absolutely, looking forward to meeting up at we3sisters ! We're going to have a grand time. -fallenwitch

Not sure how you got this out of Keith Urban...but either way, I like it. Different, poignant, thoroughly enjoyable.

Author's Response: Nobody else can either, but it makes complete sense to me. *laughs* The two elements that I took from the KU song,"I Can't Stop Loving You", were saying goodbye at a train station and not knowing whether or not that would be the last time he saw her. I don't write song fics, per say, but many of my fics, even my chaptered fics, have elements gleaned from various songs. Thank you for your review. I thoroughly enjoyed it! - fallenwitch

I really liked this fic. Especially 'And it is night' remarks. Firstly I didn't get them, but in the end everything became clear. Every deep and emotional fic.

This was absolutely beautiful! Completely heartbreaking - but in a good way. Or maybe it's just my PMS that made me this crying mess, *grins*
You have a wonderful way with words, keep up the lovely job!

Hello fallenwitch. First of all, what an incredible start to the story. That first paragraph is like being plunged into deathly cold icewater and, then, pulling yourself back onto the shore, shivering and expecting a grim fate around the paragraph.

Then you follow it up with an introspective second paragraph, which directs all attention away from a fearsome-seeming destiny and inward.

I love the stylistic repetitions, like heartbeats pulsing. They pull me into a trance.

I love how your characterization of Ginny doesn't give up on Draco even though she's really flying in the dark; there's a profound realization or two there.

Finally, I love how you link despair and heroism together and stamp it as a uniquely 'Draco' event in this story.

Wonderful job, as always.

This was realy heartbreaking!! You have such a way with words, and present tense is hard to write, but you did fabulously!!

Here have a hammer and bludgeon my heart into a messy pulp, because really that is what your writing does to me. “And dawn has begun” such simple statements really give the entire fic such body and depth that I had to read it twice to absorb as much of it as possible. I liked how you continued the phrase of “northern star” in this piece and I giggled with glee at the mention of Zach. An amazing piece which is rather different from your other pieces of work :D!

Author's Response: Hullo azadi!
Well, I guess we take turns with that hammer - depending on who is reading whose writing, eh? *laughs* You are so observant. Yes, this is my second "northern star" piece! I loved being able to stick Zach in there somewhere. Hopefully, the first of many appearances to come. And the style is very different from my usual (no cussing either!) because this was an experimental fic, meant to stretch the writing a bit. Not sure it worked but that's okay. You know how that is. Appreciate the wonderful, insightful review! -fallenwitch

Wow, Fallenwitch - very powerful. Loved the way the story was interspeed with light and darkness. I was scared that it would end with a broken heart, but thankfully it didn't.

Author's Response: JuliusCaesar, I am always touched when you take the time to stop by. Thank you for being so good to me, and I'm glad that you found this one worthy. Yes, a happy ending! -fallenwitch

wow.
this is amazing... It's dark and a little bit scary, without being depressing. My hat is well and truly off... if that makes any sense :) well done, and thank you...

Wow, and everybody loves you. Well, none of 'em love you more 'n me, even if they say it prettier in big caps. ;-) And now I'll add another accolade to the count, just 'cause.

Author's Response: This one made me smile and I think it's true. That made me smile twice. -fallenwitch

See, look, I even went and REGISTERED for this D/G site (I won't say silly...I'm not stupid) just so I can review. ;-) I do see your problem, though. The premise is interesting, and I like the general use of present time. It's always fun, more immediate, but occasionally hard to keep up with, granted. hm...will ask you about it. slightly uncertain about the time frames of certain scenes, how they fit together, etc. but that's a first read. Off to class and back again later. Very nice (angsty HAPPY ENDING D/G) lunch break.
Did I mention that I approve of the happy ending?
:-)
A nice little piece. Your fan, as always, ~A.

Author's Response: Hello Aurinko!
I am honored that you would stoop so low as to register on a D/G site. I promise I won't tell your friends about the things you do to keep up with me. I appreciate it, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to entertain you during your lunch break. -fallenwitch
