This is a lovely start to the story. I like the interaction between Draco and Ginny, particularly considering how even though Draco is mute during most of it there is a lot said with body language.
Hm, I wonder why Draco, in the flashback scene, called Ginny by her first name. Did he and Ginny have some sort of a relationship prior to them fleeing the Burrow?

oh yes this is very good. I am assuming we will be informed on why draco did not talk before? I do like how you used the idea of him caring about her being promised to harry! That was brilliant. Old fashioned manners definitely fit his character. Please continue!

This was pretty good. I personally like a lot of description so I would suggest more of that but I do know there are different styles of writing so I understand if more description doesn't work. Good Luck with the rest of the story!

i really like this story! Can't wait to read more. i think that he liked ginny from the beginning. nice to know he can still talk even though it was to just ginny. i really liked the ring thing. it was very manly of him to care or not. *knowing draco he would have done it even if she said it was a promise ring...lol* catch you next time! :)

wooowww, wow, I love it! A lot. So concise. I loved how at the end, everything was its own line "He didn't understand what it meant. / Hermione did, and sent him to London. /" Just made it...almost like bulletpoints - so straightforward. And it absolutely fit, I really felt like it all got across so well. Jeez, nice job.
