Thank you for the update! Now I'm starting to understand the importance of theProphecy at the beginning of the story. I suppose the two lonely souls are Draco and Ginny? I like that their relationship is progressing in a more physical way. And I hope she gets even with Harry! I can't believe that Ron believed Harry over her!

Ohh...Voldemort wants Gin. Never saw that one coming. Why can Harry just not kill him and they have some babies? Anyway great chapter. Post more soon. Harry just doesn't seem concerned about her, and Ron is a prat for believing Harry over her.

i totally love this story. seriously. i look for updates everytime i get on. as much as it kills me, i like that you're separating the updates, as it's quite exciting when suddenly there is one. aside from that rambling about my fic reading habits, i just wanted to say this is a really good story. i love it :)

Thank you for the update! I really liked the first chapter and I was thrilled to see the next one posted.
I liked how Draco admitted that he wasn't sleeping with anyone else and I liked that he finally got his kiss, so I hope the both of them make it out of the Death Eaters' attack alive to pick up where they left off!

You know, I was looking around for this story the other day! I couldn't remember what it was called or who wrote it, only that I wanted to read it again. Little did I know I had it saved on my hard drive. *headdesk* I STILL love it!
Author's Response: You almost made me spit my coffee out onto my computer screen. I'm so amused. I'm also so glad that other people go back and read fic for a second time. Ha. See, at this moment, you're the only one besides me and the dropped-the-ball-and-we-don't-care mods over at Smutakkah that know how it turns out. I'm so amused that I accidentally told Jess that I entered this for the dgficexchange and she's been searching for it to find out how it ends. Ha. I'm so amused (and repentant for making someone crazy...but mostly just amused).

I swear I've read this story beore. I can't seem to figure out where or remember how it ends, but I love it just the same!
Author's Response: Nope, you wouldn't have read it before. The Smutakkah mods dropped the ball entirely, so, unless you were one of the mods or my beta (which I know you aren't....lol), you haven't read this before.

NO! They're right... they always get interrupted! Darn those Death Eaters! But yeah -- LOVE it. I think it's brilliant and now I have to go find it on the exchange, because I need to know the end NOW! ;)
Author's Response: Ha, I can't believe you don't remember the end. I think you read it then as well. You're too funny. The whole thing is saved on my laptop, and I finally fired that damn thing up today so I could update this. I'm thinking of uploading another chapter mid-week. I've also got to churn out the rest of a prompt I received as a back-up thing for Smutakkah, but never finished. Why finish it when they aren't going to post it or do anything that mods of an exchance are supposed to do, right? So, I've got to get the last three chapters of this posted and then start posting that. I can't wait to read the entries to the latest exchange y'all cooked up!

Author's Response: No, no babies in this story, unfortunately.rnrnAs for Smutakkah, the mods just abandoned it. I don't know how many people contacted them, but I did -- multiple times. Neither responded to my emails. So, basically, they just collected the entries and flaked totally. Both are alive and kicking, and I know at least one of them is active online. Nothing much can be done. Participation in last year's exchanges definitely opened my eyes. No matter how much I want to, I don't think I'll be participating in any more exchanges.

Author's Response: I've been meaning to. It is saved to my laptop, but I hardly use the darn thing anymore. I need to save it to my desktop so I can post the last three chapters while my laptop goes to get fixed. Hopefully, I'll remember to do that and the next chapter will be up somewhere between mid-week and next Sunday. I normally only post on Sundays, but I'm thinking of bending that rule simply because I haven't updated in so long and I want this puppy up and finished. We shall see.

Ooh, interesting so far. It makes me wonder if Ginny actually likes him or not (yet, that is ;)). I was wondering what happened to all the stories promised for smutakkah. Do you happen to know what happened with that?
Author's Response: No, I have no idea what happened to the fics for Smutakkah. I tried emailing both the mods and contacted them both on LJ, and neither had the decency to respond. They both completely dropped the ball and neither one wants to dignify anyone else with an answer. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is highly, highly, highly irritated with the outcome. I really, really hope that they are both totally and completely ashamed of themselves for not even notifying anyone as to what happened -- especially when they were both contacted by at lease one person (and I'm sure I wasn't the only one). At this point, they can have no excuses for their behavior and lack of respect for all those involved.
