Oh, the torture of doomed love! At least I have the comfort of knowing that you are writing this, so it can't end up too badly. On the other hand, you said it was different from everything else you've written, so maybe I should worry! Anyway, Harry is still really annoying in this chapter, but Draco makes up for that. I'll be interested to see what happens next. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Just remember my reputation...

aaaw! you've presented all this very well... I can't think of any better word than 'presented', though it's probably not the right one... Love how this story's going, but what will happen next...? She won't be able to see him off to Azkaban, will she?

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Who knows what will happen next :)

Really good, i can't wait for more. I agree with Nokomis, Ginny totally needs a hug

Author's Response: Thank you. Ginny does need a hug, badly!

*smooshes Draco and Ginny together*

You write those kids together like nobody's business. I like the easy comraderie between them, the way they've grown used to the company of the other with minimal drama. Understandable, given that Draco's been ill and Ginny's been the caretaker.

Harry, on the other hand, just needs to... go elsewhere. *shoos him away from Ginny* His paranoia read as true, though.

I feel bad for Ginny, because she's clearly lonely there in the house. The part that made that most clear was when she thought her cooking might be scaring others off - totally sad! And the moment with the tailoring spells - I do adore your characterization of her. She needs a good hug.

And Draco's just the one to give it to her! Those moments of passion - though sadly filled with inaction - between them, with the tension palpable, were very well done. I was yelling for them to go ahead with it, but alas!

I adore this story wholeheartedly. Thank you for writing!

Author's Response: Ginny would like Harry to just "go elsewhere" too! Gin-Gin is lonely, but so is Draco. They both need good hugs! And *squee* Thank you for the lovely review!!

Hey this is wonderful! I noticed a few typo errors, a little bit rushed scenes, particularly at the end, but other than that, I really love this story. I can't wait to see what happens, and even though it is only the second chapter, I feel invested in the characters. And I like seeing a different kind of Draco and whats more--a different Ginny, which seems to be more rare these days. Thanks for writing, and I can't wait for your next update.

Author's Response: Thank you. I was going for something a little different. I'm glad you like it so far!

Great chapter. I really don't want him to go or make her pregnant with his child. Harry should break both of his legs and be left in some awful persons care. I really liked this chapter. Enough angst and fluff to balance out. She want be going back to Harry right??? I cannot wait for Ron to come he seems like an alright person. Will we ever see any of the others like Luna, Neville or Blaise? I hope to see more soon. Great chapter again...

Author's Response: Thank you. You'll just have to stay tuned to see what happens with Draco, Ginny and Harry. Ron will be back in the next chapter I promise. As for other characters, I can't make any promises.

I'm so sad for Ginny at the end of this chapter! This was excellent, as always.

Author's Response: Ginny isn't in a good place is she?

*happy sigh* I think you already know how much I adore this story, this concept and this incarnation of Draco/Ginny, but I'm going to tell you again. I adore this!

I love the plot here - Ginny playing nursemaid to Draco, her reluctance. The way she reacts to the situation is perfect and refreshing, reluctant but not overly so. She is clearly a good person, and does what she needs to.

And poor Draco! His arm! And on top of that, having Ginny as his nurse, because she isn't going to take any of his crap. But I'm glad that there's clearly going to be a light at the end of their tunnel!

Basically, I really adore the concept for this story - the Death Eaters, the secluded hideaway, the way Draco and Ginny are forced together and clearly things are going to grow organically between them. Your writing is a treat to indulge in, and I'm so glad you're writing this story!

Author's Response: Thank you! *blushes* You flatter me so!

I loved this when you showed it to me originally. It's so different than everything you usually write - but that's good! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response: I wanted to do something different and this just spoke to me. We'll see how it goes.

wow- very different. but i really like your characterisation of tired Ginny. noble and full of energy gets a bit exhausting after a while i guess. can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to see a realistic Gin, one is weary and just ready for things to be over.

Harry definitely needs a slap upside of the head *nods* Even then I don't think that would help him see what she's about. Poor Draco *weeps* My heart just bleeds for him *pats*

You know I can't wait for more *g*

Author's Response: I know, and I'm going to just be even more mean to him!

This is definitely an intriguing beginning. The relationships you have already established (between Ginny and Draco, Harry, and Ron) should make for a very interesting story. Thanks for posting! I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you. It's very different from anything I've written before, and so far I'm liking it. Expect to see chapter two soon...

Interesting. I cannot wait for more. I really wish that she would unleash the BBH on Harry. It for the greater good, blah blah blah. Harry seems so whiny in this, wanting her back and all. She should tell him to back up out of her space before she knocks him out. Great writing as usual. I hope to see the new chapter soon. Great work. :)

Author's Response: She should hex Harry, but she won't. There are some lines she won't cross...

*fangirl squee of delight*

Favorite part: "“Oh, Malfoy,” she exclaimed softly... "

And I really like the dialogue. Yay for going outside your comfort zone. You rock, Rainpuddle. I, of course, cannot wait for more.

Author's Response: Ginny is not as hard-nosed as she wants everyone to believe...
