"He - the heartless Death Eater, the ruthless Slytherin - loves her. And she, the sweet Gryffindor with her heart on her sleeve (who always says the right thing, and does the right thing, and wears the right thing, and touches the right thing…), isn’t reciprocating the feeling... He’s not going to turn his back on her because he half expects her to really stab a knife in his back as soon as he does it." Heartwrenching.

This whole fic is stunning. Not only is it so descriptive, you can just feel yourself in pain right along with him. Yeah, I hope you do write that sequel please, it would be good to see what Ginny's feelings are. A very moving fic, and well done.

This. Is. Brilliant.

I loved every word of it. Your descriptions are vivid and the emotions painfully vivid.

Fantastic job.

Author's Response: Thank. You. So. Much. I always thought I had troubles with descriptions!

This is really good. Draco's emotions are perfectly described. I really like playing with the idea of the facades that people hold on to, and their consequences. The ending was really well said, too.

Author's Response: Thanks! I like playing with that idea too, that's why I wrote it :) And I'm so relieved you liked the ending, because my beta didn't understand it.

I, too, am surprised that there are scarcely any reviews here! This is probably one of the best fics I've read. Your descriptions are beautiful and I love the way you've revealed Draco's inner turmoil. By not including Ginny's thoughts you've left the reader, or at least me, wondering what Ginny really thinks about their relationship. So again, brilliant!

Author's Response: Thanks to you too! I was trying out a new style, actually, with lots of descriptions and inner turmoil and stuff like that. What Ginny really thinks about their relationship? Ironically enough, the same things Draco thinks. If I *ever* write a sequel, it'll be the same events from Ginny's POV, to show how they could be happy, actually, if only one of them said what they feel.

No review? That's weird, because I think this fic is AMAZING!!! Yeah, I always wondered that Draco/Ginny relationship will be full of passion and denial, complicated, angsty but romantic (in unusual way), and irrational. It's like love-and-hate relationship. So deep... They'll need/heal/hate/love each other. I LOVE IT! And maybe just maybe you can make the sequel.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Well, since it's my first fic here, I didn't really expect much out of it...... Anyway, I didn't plan a sequel but, yeah, I could write it. One day. And what you said about the love-and-hate relationship, that was exactly what I had in mind!
