Oh, I was so worried there would be deaths at the end when I started reading this. :S Thank you so much for not doing that. And thank you for sharing. Lovely story. :)
I love this story. I've read a couple of times. Makes you think of course...Great work. Thank you writing it.
One of the most original stories I've ever read. I loved it, well done.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
amazing!! the story got me all sappy at the end.. :) you've got great talent. can't wait to read more of your stories.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it and hope you like the other stories too!
i was watching the notebook today and it made me think of this story, so of course i had to reread it. this is brilliant by the way. they're so cute.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you still like it!
The story is nice.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
The simplicity of this story has made it unforgettable to me.
Its touched me dearly. Beautifully written.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy that the story touched you; that's probably the biggest compliment you could give me!
That was a very sweet story, such a great way to make up for JKR's epilogue of doom.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
How lovely... I really liked how you wrote Harry and Ginny's lives together, it seemed very believable!
I can picture Draco and Ginny being very happy for many years still... If Dumbledore was still so sprightly at 150 with no one to share his life with - Well, I'm sure they can make it just as long... after all, don't they say married couples are happier and tend to live longer?
Author's Response:I also imagine Draco and Ginny having many years together! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for the review!
adorable. well done. absolutely lovely. congrats. i wasn't sure about it at the start but i love it now!
good luck for any future stories.
xx
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you ended up enjoying the story, even after your doubts. And thanks for the review!
Alls well that ends well. I really enjoyed this story and how you showed everyone that dumb epilogue or not, Draco and Ginny can find each other. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the ending (and the whole concept). Thanks for all of your reviews!
:D I'm smiling from ear to ear, that was so sweet.
Author's Response: Thank you very much!
Bravo! Bravo!!!! Having just gotten my wisdom teeth out I can hardly type, but this was a wonderfultreat. Thank you, Em, you are very talented
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ending. Thanks for all of your reviews!
aww i love this story soo cute
Author's Response: Thank you!
It was simply wonderful from start to finish! I'm really going to miss your updates, but I'm so glad it had a happy ending *g* Old!Draco is wicked ;)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. And did you ever doubt the happy ending?
wow! the way you presented it in draco's pov after the wedding has taken place worked so well! your description of draco's feelings throughout is so incredibly touching. i'll take a sappy draco anytime. ginny's statement that 'she feels like her whole life has been leading towards this, to him' - somehow erased the sour taste that the canon epilogue left me. you gave it just the right touch of humor and details, and the ending... perfection!
omg, it's over! i'll definitely look forward to more of your work in the future. meanwhile, i'm off to r&r your other stories. btw, i printed-out the mollasses cookie recipe you recc'd in your 'Baking Lessons' fic. i'm making them this wkend and wl let you know when i review that story. you're one very talented writer. fantastic job on this one!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the story so much. We all need something to help forget the epilogue, so I'm glad this worked for you. Enjoy the cookies, and thanks again for reviewing!
Aw! That was absolutely adorable! I loved Draco's response to the reporter. "And you think I look young?" hahaha
Excellent job! I look forward to reading your next piece!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. And that quote was one of my favorites too. I'm working on a story for the fic exchange, so hopefully you won't have to wait too long for another one. Thanks for all your reviews on this story!
This story has just been amazing to read. I love how the differences between the houses come down and Scorpius and Albus overcome their differences! I can't wait to read more of your stories! :D
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun with Albus and Scorpius. :) I'm working on a new D/G story for the fic exchange, so there will be another one before too long. Thanks for the review!
Aww! What a lovely fluffy ending.
It was the little details that made the story more than the sum of it's parts. The reference to Fanny's designing style that's more appropriate to advertising Skiving Snackboxes than a wedding guestbook, the positioning of the wedding ceremony so that it would be visible from 'their seat' and the extra effort that the house-elves put in to make the buffet the best possible within their strictly limited brief. Heh, Draco's increased sappiness, as he calls it, was amusing to read about, too.
I hope that you'll continue to write more D/G fics; this one was amazingly original and I'd love to read more of your work. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! One of my favorite things about writing is coming up with the details, so it is nice to know that other people appreciate them as well. I'm working on a new D/G story right now for the fic exchange, and if you can't wait for that, I have about a dozen other stories posted on this site. (Of course, you might already have read them, in which case, there's not much I can do to help you for now.) Thank you very much for all of the reviews!
aw! i love this story! even if it is about old people. haha. that was a joke.... anyways! great job, simply lovely. i love the way you made it about old kids but they still had life you know? haha. brilliant, really.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, even if it was about old people! :)
I'm smiling. Good job.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Oh I'm crying too! I hope I have a son like Albus...Wonderfully written! can't wait for the wedding!
Author's Response: I assume you mean that you want a son like Albus when he is being sweet, not when he is being a pigheaded prat, right? :) I'm glad that you liked the chapter. Thanks for the review!
I knew Albus would come to his senses! I love this story so and I have bittersweet feelings about the next chapters being the last ones.
Author's Response: I'm happy that you are enjoying the story so much, but I'm afraid it must come to an end. If I kept it going, it would end up being really boring! Thank you so much for your review!
He's going to give her away?! Ah! That's too cute for words! I'm so glad he came around. Otherwise, I was going to have to knock some sense into him! Only one chapter left? Oh dear. That's so bittersweet.
Author's Response: I think Albus's wife knocked some sense into him for you! I'm glad that you liked it, though. Thanks for the review!
Aww! What a lovely ending to the chapter. Melanie's advice to Albus was very well thought out; it's a very believable in that Ginny's rather stubborn streak would mean that if not for Albus' apology, there would be a rift between mother and son for a long time to come. Heh, I wonder what Albus said to Scorpius? I'm sure the latter enjoyed the moment, though.
It's sweet how Draco comes to Ginny's side whenever he thinks she may have need of him.
The gentle integration of the two families was explained well and it was amusing to see Draco almost surprised that he's enjoying himself.
I can't believe that there's only one more chapter left. I don't want this to end! It's been fun reading of the more mature Draco and Ginny and their romance.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed those parts of the story. I think of Melanie as very level-headed, and very, very good at talking Albus into things. (By the way, I have no idea what Albus said to Scorpius!) I see Draco as very protective, both of Ginny and his children, so I'm happy that came across. Thanks, as always, for the review!
