Blackcurrant mead? Oh I'm jealous. Though I did find blackcurrant wheat beer (or w/e it was, blackcurrant something nonetheless) at whole foods last month. It was amazing. I didn't have to imperious anyone to get it though, my life is not quite that exciting. It'll be interesting to see what he needs Rosmerta's help for, I can't think of anything off the top of my head, though I'm sure you'll reveal all when you feel like it.

It sounds like she's "parted ways" in more than one sense. Dean and her don't seem like they're going to last long. Dean's a nice guy, but not for her... obviously. I like the way you have Draco acting very in character. Good job!

This dovetails so neatly with the canon, and yet you're giving us great insight into characters that JKR doesn't follow in the books...this is really well done, I'm excited to read more! All those
"secondary" characters are so fleshed out and human! :-)
