I loved this. I a huge fan of D/G poetry, and this is one of the best poems I've read in a while.

I don't read a lot of poetry. I prefer my D/G straight forward. But, I did feel a lot of emotion in this.

Wow, what a powerful poem. It's wonderful. It's really hard to write rhyming poems that have a good narration also, so kudos for that. There are many stanzas that I particularly enjoyed.
"I let go of her
I let go of my heart
I let go of my troubles
She let go of her life" This is just so heartbreaking, finding out so suddenly that Ginny didn't want to live any longer.
And this following stanza just epitomises the whole relationship so starkly:
"Mercy is mirthless
Honour is pain
She was tired of my lies
And I was tired of her games"
A great poem; I look forward to reading more of your work. :)
