This was wonderful. It's very important to remember the fallen and the lives that have to move on. I like the way you make Ginny's & Voldemort's connection important in this. I do wish Jo had done it. Kudos to you!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it.

As a fellow antipodean, I understand well, the emotions that you are drawing on.

How well you have captured the idea that war is futile. That it brings only pain to those left behind to remember. Lest We Forget.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I was at the Dawn service at Gallipoli in 2006, and the idea had been floating in my mind ever since, but I couldn't work out how to write it. Then the day before ANZAC Day, it just popped into my head fully formed as a D/G fic. It just seemed to work best that way.

Wow. That was very powerful, but it wasn't overly depressing. Wonderful job!!

I like how you led us to believe it was Harry she married. I was waiting for the last gravestone to be Dracos. I was quite happy that it wasn't. Good job.

Author's Response: Thank you. I could never kill off Draco... I tried once and, believe me, it wasn't pretty.

I'm not Australian, but as an American I can draw upon similar visions. My dad, whenever he decides to go, will be placed in one of the national cemeteries for war veterans (he was in Vietnam, just barely missed Korea) and this piece just spoke to my heart. Thanks for writing it.

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

honestly, that's all i can say. i'm australian and i know what you're drawing on. seeing people today, they have such raw and real emotions...you've created that same atmosphere.
great job

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I knew what I wanted to capture, but wasn't sure I could pull it off.
