I can't wait to read the end of your story! I started reading it around half way through, but I always look forward to your updates and read them as soon as I get the email notification. Thank you so much for writing amazing draco/ginny, but also being able to write Harry's character. That is one of the reasons this story stands out among the many that make up draco/ginny fanfiction! Can't wait for the next chapter! ~a loyal fan

Author's Response: Yay! I'm so happy to hear that you look forward to the email notifications, LOL. I really wanted to make true D/G fans feel bad for Harry because it seems like most stories on this site just make him out to be a big jerk, then it's too easy to hope that Ginny falls for Draco instead. I'm glad you like it!

Nice chapter, I like that you kept Snape alive, I look forward to seeing this story to its completion.

Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to give Snape a chance to make his own way, maybe find peace for himself somehow. Thank you for your review!

Awesome first chapter for your first fic. Seriously.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! My first chapter was probably the most horrible, since I was just starting out. Lots and lots of revisions before I even went on to write the rest of it, but it finally evolved into what you see today! :-)

What I enjoy the most about this story is that you really took your idea and made it completely realistic (well as realistic as HP can be). Your Harry was true to Harry form, he wasn't the arse that most authors choose to portray him as. I am so torn because I feel awful for them with their loss of Harry but happy for Ginny that she still has Draco. Great story, I am really glad you advertised this fic otherwise I would have never stumbled upon this jem.

Author's Response: I'm really glad you think that it's "HP world" realistic. I like the characters as is from canon, so I wanted to build off of that. Even Draco's still in character, at least through HBP. I just love that he's secretly broken inside, and we didn't see enough of that in the books! Harry being a jerk makes it too easy for readers to want to see Ginny with him, not enough drama! Thank you so much! :-D

This story is terrific! I have found it very difficult to walk away once I started reading it. (Laundry doesn't really need to be done, does it?) Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad I take prescident over laundry, LOL! I've read some stories where stopping just wasn't an option, so I've been hoping to go for that reaction. I appreciate your review! :-)

So Nagini is the last horrorcrux...

the end of this chapter was very interesting. Thank Merlin that Draco is going with Harry, because without him the later would get killed for sure.

update as soon as you can, please

Author's Response: Yea, I'm pretty much rewriting the outcome of DH while still using some details from it. :-)

So this is getting very good! I am curious to see how you are going to weave the details of DH with your story. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Author's Response: I like getting to steal ideas while creating my own story, it's so fun!

I really liked this chatper. It was hard to hate Harry because you portrayed him much like how he is in the book. You feel bad for him as well as feel his hurt, but at the same time you are happy she's staying with Draco. :) Bravo!

Author's Response: I really want the readers to feel for both Draco and Harry, since it's not a fair situation for either or them if they're the one broken-hearted. It was sad for me as well because I do like the H/G ship as well, but not in this story! :-) Thank you soooo much for reviewing each chapter and leaving a reply on the beta forum! I appreciate it so much! Hope to see future reviews!

Oooooh this is good, Draco's walls are all but gone and yet Ginny isn't ready to let go of Harry.

Author's Response: She's breaking them down! But there are those lingering feelings to be dealt with...

Beautiful first kiss moment - even if it was in the hospital wing! ;)

I love the tenderness that you gave Draco in this chapter. I am also relieved that Ginny is ok.

Author's Response: I definitely see him as a very loyal person that, once he finally figures out that she's very special to him, will do anything to protect her, not to mention be very gentle with her. :-)

Ahhhh I like this, Ginny is now honestly torn between the man she loved (and still does) and the man she is starting to love. You also made a great debate with those two, I've never heard it spelled out so simply; you don't choose the magic, the magic chooses you.

Author's Response: When I started their debate, I wasn't sure how I was going to argue Draco's side. Magic choosing you did seem very simple, and he couldn't seem to argue with it since he really didn't believe in the whole 'Mudbloods stole their magic' bit.

It must be hard for Draco to live under the condition which he is.

Author's Response: It's hard for him to see Pansy still under the spell too.

If there could have been another avenue for the DH then this would have been the one I would choose. It explores paths which I am sure everyone has thought about. Loving it!

Author's Response: Definitely. I was sooo sad that Draco wasn't redeemed in DH with some sort of heroic act, that he didn't reveal a little more of his deep anguish that we only saw a glimpse of in HBP, but then he was back to being a self-preserving jerk in DH. So sad.
Name: tinamarie reviewed No Longer the Enemy on Jul 31, 2008 12:21 pm
I like how you are portraying Ginny, based off of HBP she of course is still pining for Harry. Can't wait to see how her and Draco's relationship evolve.

Author's Response: She was a bit weepier when I first wrote her, but I revised her a bit. Ginny Weasley should be a spitfire, but she has her soft spots. :-) Probably why I don't like her in the movies, they never give her lines, and they make her so plain.

I honestly beleive you got McGonagall down to a "T". I totally had her voice in my head as she started laying it out for Draco.

Author's Response: Awesome. My beta helped a lot to make sure McGonagall sounded right, several emails back and forth, haha.
Name: tinamarie reviewed Intrusion on a Family Moment on Jul 31, 2008 11:48 am
Very nice, I like how you are seamlessly using the events of HBP in this story.

Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to keep it as close as possible to canon after HBP because I liked Draco's part until that! He was just starting to exonerate himself, or at least we were seeing some change in him, and then nothing in DH! Bah!

tooo bad for harry. i never liked him. i don't know if you do this but i love stories with a pregnant ginny. oh and put narcissa in. sorry for being demanding. Only do it if u want to i mean its ur story. bye

Author's Response: Hmm, pregnant Ginny stories are cute, we'll see about that one. Unfortunately I killed off Narcissa in the first chapter, but maybe she could appear in a flashback or something? I'll take your suggestions into accout, haha, thanks for the review!

i love this story, and while harry is by no means my fave character, i do feel sorry for him lol
unfortunately for him it had to be done and it was very well written, exactly how it should have been =]

thank you for writing this story! can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: I'm a fan of Harry's in certain contexts, and D/G fics isn't one of them! He's just so fun to make bad things happen to since he seems to get screwed over a lot of the time, as sick as that sounds, LOL. I'm glad you think it was done well and thank you for your review!
