Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I don't seem to be able to develop a chapter past 2500-3000ish words, I just stare at the computer screen and can't come up with anything else, haha. As long as the point gets across, my brain kind of shuts down after that. But I'm glad you like where it's going! :-)

Oh that was painful! Damn! I actually feel sorry for him... and that really is not my style. Great chapter, more Draco would have been nice, but the fact that what had to be done is done makes me happy. Cant wait for more.

yay! i'm just glad when Harry kissed her the story didn't take the easy path to conflict and have Draco see. that might have made me close out this story in disappointment. Thank you, truly for keeping this chappie out of clichesville

Much as I'm already aware that there are going to be more chapters... I think that this would have been a perfect ending. No Voldemort wouldn't be dead and Draco's revenge wouldn't be exacted (continuing with the hole dead voldie thing), but I really love the last scene. It's just so perfect. I loved how the reflection in the mirror was the same as what was actually happening. You had me worried there for a smidge with Harry showing up in the mirror, but Ginny and I were relived when he left :)
Author's Response: Ahh, yea, this would have been a very cutsie, happy ending for the two of them. I need some more conflict though, they have to earn that happiness together! And having Harry in the mirror hopefully threw people off a bit, but I wanted her to realize that what she needed was to say good-bye to him before she could really let Draco in. And then she did... yay! Thank you so much for your review, I love to hear your opinion!

And it was all going so great! I feel it for Draco but I have to sympathize with Ginny as well. She can't choose Draco without remembering Harry (although the little fangirl in me is just screaming out "why not?!"). It wouldn't seem right. Whatever will change her mind??

Oh, I know, I have more to go. But I have to say, for your first story, this is absolutely wonderful. I love reading different authors' accounts of what could have happened after the night Dumbledore died. Especially from Draco's point of view. So, this is very intriguing for me.

I was so disappointed that Jo hadn't given Draco a more exonerating role in Deathly Hallows, I was hoping he'd come in the save the day and make up for what he'd done before. I think that's why a lot of Draco fans end up writing their own stories in which he's the hero alongside or instead of Harry. :-) Thank you for the review!

I really enjoyed reading this story :) Although there are many fics with a 'Draco turns good and Ginny falls for him' storyline I feel like you've transcended most of them by making the pace more believable. I also liked the scene between Pansy and Draco showing Pansy's confusion and blindness. I also applaud the way you handled the debate between Draco and Ginny about Purebloods vs. Muggle-borns. I look forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was really trying to make his transition from his former self very subtle, with a little of the old Draco still lingering. It was a little difficult to argue Draco's side in his and Ginny's debate, which is probably why he gave up so fast, LOL. I'm glad it came off well!
