Oooh, I love the banter. I think you've nailed the characterizations here, too. Ginny's fiery and strong and Draco is snarky and sexy. You really need to update this!
Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked that. It's what I was aiming for in this chapter, to set the base for their character interactions, so it's nice to see that it was obvious to the reader's eyes! And I truly am working on the next chapter, it's just taking a lot longer than I expected!

I think your characterizations are brilliant too, Draco more than Ginny, however, I think we'll get more of a grasp on your Ginny as we get more backstory; why she went to America ect.

I'm glad that the D/G aspect of things came into play here. I enjoyed their interactions very well, and I found myself rooting for Ginny to be able to hold her own against Draco. He sounds like a total prat, which is good, lol. The bigger they are the harder they fall! >:D
I love the thought of Draco giving "icy cackles" lol. I like that he checked out her butt and I like that Ginny called his logo tacky. Hahahaha.
My only nitpick is this: if Ginny has been posing as a Muggle and the company she works for is Muggle as well (and the same is true of Draco's), how is it that their product is potions? Why would a Muggle company market potions to Muggles? Know what I mean? I was kind of confused by that.
But anyway, other than that, just lovely. I'm glad that you're updating frequently! Can't wait for the next chatper! ^_^

But I was debating over other synonyms that would convey the mixtures I was trying to use, and that ended up being the word. Hopefully the future chapters will clear up the context of it a bit more! I like Ginny very much. I could totally relate to her as a harrased traveler, and I love way she's shaping out to be. Independent,witty, ironic. I like it.

I really like it so far. You have hinted at the background of why ginny is there enough not to be annoyed, by her being in America and liveing as a muggle well stayin true to her. As well as dealing with her connection to her family or in this case her lack of one by haveing her missing them even after a good deal of time has pasted, but with a reason or reasons even if they aren't completely clear at this time besides her fierce need for independence as to why she isn't in contacted with them. so in short you have given enough background on her to keep us happy and intrigued well not haveing it be the main point of intreste of the chapter but rather a beliveable frist person view of her life as it is now and the situation she is dealing with. I also have to say that I enjoyed you haveing them come into contacted though such a round about but still beliveable manner. Though there wasn't alot of draco you did mannged to stay in charter with him as well and I am looking forward to future secens with him as well as learning his back story as well as there really wasn't any mention of it in this chapter. In the end I was very impressed with this frist chapter and thought it was more like reading the start of a really good novel then that of a good fanfiction. You have taken this and made it truly your own without takeing away from the orginal work or at least i think so.^_^ the best of luck to you and looking vrey much so to your next chapter.

Ooh, this is a great start. I am really looking forward to the next chapter. I'm assuming that Ginny's got to return to England, as she'll be the only person that could leave to be the emissary at such short notice.
