i like this. could there be a novel length sequel all about draco explaining to his mom and astoria and the beginning of his romance with the littlest weasley. that would be fun to read and write and u have just the right writing style to make it awesome. great job.

I really like how you brought Astoria into the story. It could start a whole new trend in the DG world of finding creative ways to explain her away (or explain her at all.) This is the first time I've seen it done, I think, but you may be breaking some ice here.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I hadn't expected them to come to that understanding when I started the fic (I intended it to be a little more ambiguous), but they just insisted on it! There was nothing I could do to stop them. :)

Lovely! What a sweet and hopeful fic. I really liked the convergence at the end of Draco's new resolve with the 'the end has come' signs.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the story and especially the ending--the image of an 'end has come' sign trampled on the ground was part of what triggered my ideas for the fic to begin with, so it's nice to know it made an impression!
