Rereading this wonderful story is always a pleasure. Thank you for writing and sharing with us!
Such a great, refreshing story. A joy to read. Kudos to you!
This was wonderful!! Very refreshing to see an unasured Malfoy. And I love how he had already caught Ginny's eye before his quest to better himself started. :D
I can't believe that I just read this story now despite my years of shipping D/G. Thank you so much for this wonderful piece of literature. Keep writing! :)
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed my work, and thank you for the kind words in the review. :)
Eat the yoghurt, Malfoy!. Such genius!
Author's Response: hahaha! :) I must admit, my first time eating the stuff took a bit of nerve. I can't blame him too much. He's just much more of a wimp than I. :)
Aw, cute! Great story and very well written - you're really talented girl!
Author's Response: Aww! Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D
I was afraid Edwina had died! Why didn't she reschedule the meeting? Why did Ginny sleep in bed with Draco - and why didn't she say anything later? Gah. My eyes are tired from reading but I can't stop!
Author's Response: I'm hoping later conversations might explain, but we are only seeing from Draco's, and some of 'Dwina's, POV. And Edwina is a wee bit sneaky, but in a nice way. :D So glad you are enjoying!
Of course the plant description was included! I also expected Ginny to be a bit more angry about the cruise, she is a feisty red-head after all.
Author's Response: I love that plant! hahaha :)
This moved me to tears almost. I should have been studying, but I allowed myself the pleasure of reading this instead. And I am glad I did.
Author's Response: Isn't 'Dwina wonderful? I think this chapter was one of the sweetest things I've ever written. So glad you enjoyed! Now, get thyself back to studying! :)
Great story! Loved the characters! Thanks very much. :)
Author's Response: You are very, very welcome! Thanks for giving a review!
I only read it now but I'm happy I did! It is a good story and I'm glad that it ends well! Good for Draco to be fit. I love how the story progress and I'll certainly read this again in some time. Thank you for this nice story. :)
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed it! I totally enjoyed writing it. Poor Draco, surrounded by all those strong, competent women - his sweet tooth never stood a chance. :)
Best wishes!

loved Draco's take on the yoghurt
Author's Response: LOL - thanks! I just tried to make him into a petulant child.. it was a bit too easy. :)
Awww!! An adorable story, with a perfectly apt ending. If only we could all find attractive and dedicated personal trainers -- it'd be much easier to be fitter! :)
Author's Response: yes... would love to have a hottie to keep me going back to training. Alas... I must do it all on my own. :) So glad you enjoyed the story!!!!
love the last chapie!! so happy that draco & ginny are together..
Author's Response: thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed!!!! :)
love the last chapies!!! love the humor at times..
Author's Response: Just checking up and saw that I hadn't yet responded. So glad you like this. I just re-read the story yesterday and forgot how cute this story was. Glad you enjoyed!
This entire story put a smile on my face. See: =D
I enjoyed seeing Draco in a less than attractive light--or less than for him and having to actually exercise to lose weight. There was no magical potion or wand waving that he did to make him shrink a few pounds. And I could definitely see him being addicted to sweets. Heh.
I loved the interaction throughout: Ginny as the overzealous, hard ass fitness trainer that everyone hates and Draco as the reluctant client. It provided for great banter and great fun because who doesn't like to see Ginny in a power position, which she most definitely had throughout.
I also really liked the use of Edwina. :) She was sweet.
Fantastic job! It was a great light read.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your thoughtful review!!! Ginny was definitely inspired by a kickboxing instructor I once knew and it was tough to keep her character stern without making her outright mean. Draco was a joy to write because he was just so fallible and human, and Edwina, well, she just politely but firmly fitted herself in. I'm so happy you enjoyed my work and thanks for letting me know!
Best wishes!

I read all of this last night, and I thought it was laugh-out-loud fantastic. :) I was really quite dubious about reading a fic where Draco was a bit chubby and under confident. I'm as shallow as a puddle, you see, and do like to read about sexy, slinky Slytherins. However, after the first couple of chapters I was sold to it.
I loved the way Edwina didn't think he could quite fill his father's position. I loved seeing him battle through his shortcomings and his stress. And, what I loved most of all, was that Ginny had wanted to talk to him BEFORE he decided to get fit. That was a really lovely little twist.
It was funny, sweet and a really lovely light-hearted read. And the epilogue beautifully tied everything up. So, thank you for writing this, it was a lovely way to spend my evening!
Author's Response: Oh, what a lovely wording. I love it if it made you laugh. I laughed even as I wrote it, maybe because Draco has a bit of me in him for this particular story - at least in his resistance to leaving his sweets behind. And, he's still sexy, just under a little chubbiness at first. I'm amazed how many people admit that they were hesitant to read based on Draco's problem. I'm glad he won you over anyway - I knew he would. :D
This was a joy to write, and I'm so happy you enjoyed reading. Thanks for the review!
A lovely wrap up to a lovely story. I was really pleased with your choice to make the epilogue from Edwina's point of view. Having her describe their happiness was very effective. It made for a nice, simple fresh ending that really suited the style and pace of the rest of the story. Great work!
Author's Response: Thank you! Edwina really grew on me as i wrote. I started thinking of why she's so very loyal and then I realized that she really loves Draco in a motherly way, so she takes care of him, and will take care of his son too. She was so much fun to write. I'm so glad that you found it suited the story. Thanks so much for the review!
Best wishes!
I really enjoyed this story! So much. I loved your Draco, and it was completely believable that he had let himself go. And the epilogue was perfect. I loved that we can see that he has helped Ginny relax and enjoy her life, too. Such an uplifting story, it was a pleasure to read it straight through. Congrats!
Author's Response: Thank you! So glad that you enjoyed my work. Ginny truly did need to chill a bit. :) I'm so happy that you found it uplifting. it is so easy to sympathize with Draco's plight, even while he's being himself. :)
I'm usually bad at reviewing, and therefore don't review much, but I have to say I adored this story. I really liked how Draco sub combed to overeating and had gotten fat. It made him much more realistic. I also liked the struggle of his dieting, as many of us have been there and know how difficult that task can be. I can't find much fault in this story, as you really gave the characters depth. This story was funny and fresh, something I'm always on the lookout for. Great job, overall.
Author's Response: :) Your review is awesome, and I'm honored that I'm one of the few to earn one. I am amazed at how many people mention having a connection with Draco's struggle. Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed my work!
Best wishes!

Such a lovely chapter! I had a smile on my face for the whole thing! I must say that I love Edwina. She handles Draco so efficiently. And I'm very happy with how you have developed Draco and Ginny's relationship. The part where Ginny was explaining how she thought Draco was attractive prior to his weight loss was almost too cute for words. And the bit about compromises too! Just overall a fantastically enjoyable read. You've made my day!
Author's Response: This fic is rather unique in the way people react to it. It is amazing how certain parts really seem to intrigue folks. Thanks so much!!!!
Best wishes!!!

This was so very good. I adored it, especially: "It was only one little tart, for goodness sake, and it was being used in self-defense, after all!"
Anyway, well-done! Can't wait to see what you do with the epilogue.
Author's Response: Thanks!!! I do love that line. :) So happy you enjoyed it!
Best wishes

Squealed like a school girl!! The ending OMG THE ENDING! it was beautiful I absolutely loved this story from start to finish there was so many cute moments and even when it was kind of sad it was still amazing and cute!
Edwina will always always be a favorite of mine! That goodness for that woman and ahahahaha GWEN WAS SO SHOT DOWN. I was waiting for that to happen ahahha sucker :)
Author's Response: AWWWW! You make me smile. Thank you! And, I am so happy that so many readers love 'Dwina. She kind of found her way into the story with very little effort. :) If you like her now, you will *adore* her after the epilogue. Thanks so much for the lovely review!
Awww, I loved this one! So adorable! Especially the end. That made me laugh. Poor Draco; I love it when he's not the Slytherin Sex God and actually feels out of his element when attractive woman come after him.
I'm sad we're coming to the end, but I suppose all things must.
Author's Response: Hahaha! Yes, poor Draco. He's such a sweet, simple man in this fic. Truly, even though I am poking fun at him, I think he's very much like the men I know in real life, maybe that's why I could get into his thoughts so well. Sorry, but yes... the end is near. I promise the ending will be sweeter than candy floss. :) Thank you, again, so much for your loyal following of this story.
Hugs!
I so love a Draco surrounded by strong women - mother, employees, Ginny - who can outwit him when it's called for. Well done on that score!
Also, congrats to Draco on losing almost two stone (= almost 24 lbs?) ! And of course he would admire himself in the mirror for five minutes, verifying that he's "ready to show the world that he, Draco Malfoy, was back to his superior self". Oh Draco, so vain.
Author's Response: LOL! Yes, our sweet, conceited Draco is under the impression that he's in control, but really, it's just the girls who let him think that he is. :) He has no idea. I love that about him in this fic. Thank you so much! (and so nice to see the review from you!!!!!)
Hugs!
