Why, oh why couldn't JKR have allowed Draco to have a better future? I am so bitter with her about this.

This story, especially the letter, makes me tear up every time I read it. Thank you.

That letter was inspiring :) Loved the story, especially the characters! Ginny's character was spot on. I'm sooo glad she dumped Harry. It really showed she lived by her own moral code and not his -that they were different. I'm going to snoop around more of your stories and see if their is a sequel. :)

That was really good and so heartwarming. I'd be really interested for a continuation but this is good enough for a standalone story. I'd just use my imagination for the rest, lol. Thank you so much for this story! I really love it. ^^

"Ginny thought she could probably set fire to the wall just from the heat of her blush." I love that line. Wish I'd thought of it. I love that his was serious in the beginning and then had a happy ending. I love it when Ginny defies everyone and wins.

This story is so good it deserves a review from me here, too. xD Seriously, I'm not sure how many ways I can tell you how this blew away everything I had hoped for by bringing something absolutely astounding instead. So much love to you. This continues to make me smile every time I re-read it. :)

I love it! With the way you write, it was so easy to get sucked into the story. And the characters felt so real that I have to wonder if you transported to Hogwarts and met them all personally! Thanks for stiring up my imagination. I'll look forward to future posts.

Good story, with an interesting twist. But it was Regulus Black, not Rabastan. Rabastan was a Lestrange, Rodolphus' brother and Bellatrix's brother-in-law.

Author's Response: Bugger. I'd fixed it on the community, but not on the original document. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

"Can't someone do something? That's just spite!"
Rolling her eyes, Millie said, "Welcome to the real world, Ginny."

So true. As much as fanfiction and fantasy are wonderful ways of escapism, when mixed with the realities of life it gives them, I think, much more powerful an edge. This story is a prime example of it in action. This and The Halfway House, which I also love.

I like how you sneaked in Malcolm into this fic. His cavalier attitude about Ginny's 'services' to Draco had me grinning - it's so typically Malcolm.
I love the mention of Tracey/Greg, brief though it was.

That penultimate paragraph is a favourite of mine. There's the Gin we know and love - embarrassed as hell but still considering jumping Draco. ;)

Well, thinking about it, I suppose the letter is my utmost favourite. Not one particular part, but the whole of it. How Ginny refers to the hypocrisy in society and how unjust and prejudiced it has become is very heart-felt and eloquent. The part praising Draco was great, too - especially when he quoted it back at her. *grins*

I totally can't wait for the next fic exchange to get going.. I'm going to have a very enjoyable summer reading through all those fics. ^_^

PS. I liked Mafalda - any chance she'll be in any other fics? I guess she fit in with this story particularly well, but it'd be interesting to see her in another context.

Author's Response: Can I just say how very much I love the fact that someone besides me (and Seegrim) knows/cares enough to know that something is 'typically Malcolm'? It makes me grin, seriously. I threw the Si Muove references in there to amuse myself, but I didn't think anyone outside the RP would catch them - but, then, I didn't know anyone not in the RP was reading it, either.

I don't know what I can say that I haven't already said.  But, this certainly bears repeating:  I love the Malcolm and Millie!  And, oh yeah, the D/G aren't bad either.  *runs away laughing*
