Still Team Rose. Although not liking Scorpius much now. He knew her cousin liked him and still went after her. If he had never gone after Lily, they would have just remained friends. I think Lily and Scorpius have an interesting friendship. Whatever. I've always been a D/G shipper and a S/R shipper because these relationships would cause the most conflict. Nothing like seeing 2 feuding families like the Weasleys and the Malfoys come together. Pretty ironic that I don't like Lily and Scorpius together b/c Harry is more tolerant than Hermione or Ron.

Author's Response: Haha, you think Harry is more tolerant. We shall see... But yes, Hermione and Ron are awful about it, as you will see more of later... I'd agree that S/R would have a lot of conflict, and not to be coping out here, but that's why they didn't work out. Rose couldn't admit anything about him to her family. L/S aren't without conflict either, especially when they start dealing with their parents' past. I think both pairings have conflict brewing at their core, and you may be correct in saying that S/R had more. So you can stay Team Rose, and though I promise her a happy ending, Team Lily got Scorpius... sorry ;) But she will get hers, don't you worry. Perhaps that shall placate you for now and when she does get her happiness, I think it fits her character more than this Scorpius ever could. In this fic, he and Lily are far too reckless and impulsive to not go together, where Rose is a bit more distant and thinks things through. I feel like this Scorpius would always be trying to talk her into something she didn't want to do and almost be a bad influence on Hermione Granger's daughter. Him with Lily somehow evens out. Just keep your fingers crossed for Rose though and she'll get something for herself in this fic in a few chapters ;) Can't say more, so no telling whether I mean her being some kind of hero, getting a boy, a gift, whatever... you shall just have to wait, but she will be happy in the end. Oh Gosh, now I just want to spill it, time to push 'Submit' for the reply and keep my mouth shut. Thanks for your review!

well. i'm glad things between rose and lily seem to be on the mend. hopefully! i like Scorpius and i like him with lily. they seem so good together!

Well I'm glad Lily and Rose seem to be on their way to perhaps sorting things out. I really liked the bit from Rose's POV, it's been a lot of Lily and Scorpius lately and while I do think they are justified in their angst and anger I think it's important to understand what's going on in Rose's head. That and Scorpius is starting to irritate me, not sure why, but he is. I get that he doesn't like Rose anymore and for some very good reasons, but he seems so quick to judge and then hate.

Author's Response: Yes, Lily and Rose are finally starting to sort out their friendship again, can I echo the word 'finally'? ;) And I'm glad you liked the part with Rose's thoughts, I've tried to interject her a bit more in future chapters, so hopefully that will turn out alright. And I'm sorry that Scorpius is irritating you though you are certainly right about his quickness to judge and he does have a quite short temper, more on that later though ;) Thanks for your review!

I loved the beggining of the chapter and the little flashback on Scorpius mind so that we know exactly what happened and how it happened.
I liked the protectiviness of her brother and cousin, although a little hard and in not such a good time, still very nice.
I'm so glad Rose was nice to her, and also that Lily could see she's not the only one missing her best friend!
Scorpius and Lily are wet, cute and adorable as always!
I really DO love this couple, although my love for Draco and Ginny will never cease and i can't wait to find out her secret and reasons to leave Draco.

ow the final part...i can hardly contain my excitment to find out who this owl is for and what comes with it, the news, or whatever it is that it's bringing.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like the chapter enough to say exactly what you liked, that's very cool to read and know exactly what it was. ;) As for Draco and Ginny, her secret and everything is coming out after the next two chapters, as this whole owl to Scorpius is going to have a pretty crazy outcome. If you want a clue of what's in it, just remember that Amber, Draco's secretary, was the one who sent off a message using one of Draco's company's owls. And Amber was there to witness the whole mess of Draco and Ginny seeing each other and then locking themselves in his office. So her letter is sure to be a bit of a bombshell... considering her false assumptions... Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing again, I'll try to get the next one out as soon as I can.

Amazing chapter, as per usual. Is it wrong that I'm in love with a fictional character? And that fictional character isn't Draco anymore (I know, I know!)I just love how caring (to Lily) Scorpius is. And that confession of love! Sigh. Why are sweetest boys always fictional? =P
Love this line:
“Hey, the kid had almost six in his grubby little paws; I was doing him a favor, really, much too chubby to attract any girls later in life.”
^It is so Draco. =P
Anyway, I must go to bed now, so goodnight! Oh, and you rock. I love this story.

Author's Response: I know, I'm so sorry about that but I honestly could not find a song that fit this chapter. I had one in mind originally but the chapter sort of turned out differently than I originally intended. If you have any suggestions, I'll throw one in but I could not find anything. I think from now on, I'll insert a playlist if I find one that fits, I have a handful in mind, but I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it off for every chapter. :( Anyway though, thanks so much for your review and I'm glad you like the story so much, and Scorpius, lol. I'm starting to crush on him too... Its the Draco in him I think. Really, if you do have a song suggestion at anytime, just let me know and I will throw it on it. Thanks.
