Well, this was definitely an eventful chapter. I can't believe Scorpius kissed her like that (though the Lily/Scorpius shipper in me squeed a little, lol). I wonder what Rose and Scorpius talked about.

Author's Response: I completely agree with your 'most of all' being that Draco and Ginny get to see each other again. And although it is taking a bit of time, it is coming :) However, they are two seperately married and commited people and the only time they've seen each other in twenty-six years was at the dinner party and only arranged because of their children now being friends. They will see each other several more times as Lily and Scorpius' lives get more and more tangled up in their own problems and their parents' past. It'll just be a couple chapters thrown in before they can really get anywhere. But it is coming and thank you so very much for your review! And I agree, Rose is the perfect mix of Ron and Hermione and its really starting to show...

Author's Response: I know. But I can promise you there aren't any more chapters with a cliffhanger as bad as that. I was watching 'Charlie Wilson's War' when I was first writing this story and there was a line about not looking both ways before crossing the street. I don't remember consciously decided Lily would run straight into traffic either, lol. She just did. I was there typing away about her fleeing from Scorpius and was like, 'hmm, where's she going to go?' and then BANG! Car. ;) Sorry though and I promise all will end well in the end, lol. ugh, i hate cliff hangers. i'm on the edge of my seat right now.
I loathe rose/ scorpius (rose is a bit too much like hermione for my liking) but i kind of feel like they're going to end up getting together in the end, despite the whole kiss between scorpius and lily. I kind of felt like he was doing that just to make rose jealous, and lily doesn't really see him in the romantic light so...
Anyways I really can't wait for an update, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that ginny and draco will talk in chapter 9.

Continue to enjoy the story. I love how you made Astoria rather sweet and nice, albeit a bit clueless. It's how I picture her. Poor thing has no idea, so she's a sympathetic character, and you can see Scorpius being upset about it all. Very well done!
