I read the chapters you have up on harrypotterfanfiction.com and quite love this story. It's dark without being unrealistic and sweet without being silly. I can't wait for the next installment!
This is such a cute story! I can't wait to read more!
I am the biggest lurker/creeper around. I ventured on to your livejournal from the link on you profile and noticed you had an account on harrypotterfanfiction.com. I was delighted to see more chapters of "The Grim Truth" and proceeded to read them. Wow. This fic is much darker than I imagined from the prologue but I guess the title should have warned me.
I'm really enjoying this story. :]
AAAAAAWWW
This was realy and actually cute!
i love stories like this...
but you know, you could keep it up
Like tell us about them later, a few years in the future and all that
it would be nice to see them snapping at each ther and then finally coming back together in a sweet and kind way until they found out they were attracted to each other...
Sorry, i have no imagination but once someone kicks the ball i like to keep it rolling
anyway this was really really great!
=D
kisses
From one lurker to one who has ventured forth: good luck! Looking forward to the rest of this.
I'm very intrigued by the first chapter of this story and have a personal soft spot for "D/G as young kids" fics even though I realise that's only the starting point.
I also like your choice of less common and cliche stories. Just as a random note, Draco's admiration for the tailor reminds me of an episode of How I Met Your Mother where Barney tells his friends that while watching the Karate Kid he sympathises with the 'blond kid' who later loses :P
Anyway, I am definitely excited and curious to read more!
This is an interesting start. I particularly like the image of Draco going back to the alcove, waiting to read to Ginny. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take the story next!
I loved it! Their fascination with books, and you've mentioned the Chamber, so I'm wondering where the first chapter will start. it was a great prologue- very intriguing, and I loved the Brothers Grimm and Ginny undaunted by the mention of death, contrasting with Draco's fear of it. and I liked-
Not every good-guy had to be in Gryffindor, after all.
omg, this is really good. is this REALLY your firsrt story ever? That's unbelievable. You had me hooked, and I love how Draco is so SLytherin in telling Ginny that he'd read one more story to shut her up, when he really want to read it too. And I really like the prologue, when it shows when they were little. I think it's really cute to examine their relationship to one another befor hogwarts, and you did a really good job of that. i hope when they go to hogwarts, they'll remain the same antagonism, and slowly develop more feelings for each other. Good job! And please, please update this fic soon! :)
