Wow, a great start, lots of plot options and a fresh point of view. I can't wait to see where you take this. Next to D/G, M/K is a big favorite.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! This is my first outing playing with the pairing, and I really grew to love them while writing this story. I'm definitely going to write them more often. :)

Marcus is sweet in this one
it doesn't mater if he's a little bit evil, it keeps things interisting.
The important thing is that he isn't completely mean and can say he's sorry and do good, fluffy things

Yeah, it's kinda sad when they put a tag on someone and they can only be that!
There is this really great story where Astoria isn't a total bitch (but she doesn't get Draco, of course), and now this one where where Marcus is actually a good guy!
=)
now all that is missing is one where Nott is good then i'll have seen one of everything!

At first i thought it was kinda strange
but he's actually sweet and he doesn't seem to be plottint
it reminded me of a sweet young couple who acts like old married people with inside jokes and weird nicknames

Author's Response: I'm glad it was worth the wait! For this story, I didn't see Marcus as the belligerent evil bastard that he sometimes shows up in stories as. I saw him as this kind of guy who sees himself as dumb but isn't necessarily, and is just persistent. This isn't to say he doesn't have that capability if necessary, but Katie brings out the best in him. :)

I do love all your stories, so I was going to read this one, and when I clicked Chapter one, all that came up were the story and Author's chapter notes. No actual story. I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem or not, but I thought I'd let you know.
