Author's Response: No, I wouldn't want to include something that is so scarring and personal in this story unless it was central to the plot. She was just attacked, beaten a bit and cut up. The torn robes are more because of the level of the fight. Carrow wants violence most, but simply beating her and hurting her is enough for him.

Author's Response: Just the curse going a little too far. I had her injured as some evidence of how much Carrow had gone overboard and how serious it really was. And yes, Draco does care for her. I'm glad you liked the chapter!

Wow, this story was fantastic! I loved absolutely everything about it - the writing, Draco and Ginny's characterisations, the suspense, the angst, the beautiful romance, and of course the ending! Brilliant! Hopefully someday you'll write an epilogue or a sequel to this wonderful story.

I thought it was a very well written story.
You potrayed Draco perfectly in my oppinion. Not really nice and mushy, but also not a heartless git. You managed to make him have feelings for Ginny without losing his character from the books. I've already read this story once and I am starting on it again! You have alot of talent and when you put out your first book, let me know and I'll be reading it.

Usually I don't like stories where Ginny cries this much but this time it's perfectly understandable, with the curse and everything messing up her brain. The only problem is she's making me cry along with her, lol.

I think I might be physically shaking because of this chapter. When Ginny started freaking out I started crying for her. That may be the soonest I've cried in a story. I had to read that entire conversation slowly and then reread a couple of sentences a few times to enjoy the bittersweetness of it.

Aw. ^___^That was a lovely ending - I mean this chapter is still full of angst (it's depressing you still killed Fred) but the ending is adorable. Anyway : I apologise for only reviewing this now - and doing a bad job at it - but I must say I very much enjoyed myself while reading this. I started and just couldn't stop. The plot is wonderful, and I love what you did with Draco and how he balances the "lover" from the "Slytherin" . Besides this fits perfectly in canon, in a way that I can accept it and deem it "canon" by ignoring the Epilogue of doom completely.
Their relationship was delicious to read and I kept grinning at the small details you included such as the Hogwarts founders portraits and their fear for Ginny's chastity. Thank you for writing this - it was without a doubt one of the D/G's I most liked reading in a long while. Well done =)
