Draco's memories were very tragic. I almost don't want to keep reading. I hate reading about abusive families. :(
Author's Response: Oh, no... :( I'm sorry to hear that... I didn't mean to depress you... It's just that it's so much a part of my own life, because my dad was very aggressive and cruel when I lived with my parents, and my mom wasn't much help. It's sort of a way for me to get my feelings into words, writing them into a story. But the last thing I want is to make you uncomfortable when you read it. You don't have to read any further if your heart tells you to stop. I'm sorry. *hug*

I really like this story, it's very well written...
It truly shows Draco's perspective of things. Ron's behavior is starting to grate on my nerves though. It almost makes me think he's gonna do something really bad.
I find this story to be truly a nice change of pace. Particularly when one considers that a lot of fanfiction stories are solely based on the perspective of the good side.
I'm enjoying the interaction between Ginny and Draco immensely. Their friendship is truly bittersweet, cuz they're forging a connection in such a hostile environment.
Sorry for the long review... But I'm excitedly waiting for further chapters.
