Ha! I can only imagine the priceless expression Colin captured on film. Very nice little detail. I'm enjoying your story very much (though present tense is not my favorite fiction style). It's a lovely plot idea and I like how you're developing it.

LOL! That was priceless. I loved this one. Draco's schemes were hilarious, but it was just perfect how Astoria turned the tables on him while he was too busy congratulating himself in his head.

And then he would win, as he should, and he’d also get to snog the Weasley. She’s had that coming for a while, and she certainly wouldn’t be expecting it either.

That made me laugh. Draco's thought process is so funny.

Author's Response: Thanks! I almost got stuck on how to turn this around, but then the same thing that ocurred to Draco popped into my head: why is Astoria in Slytherin? It was all downhill from there... And I love writing Draco in this story. He's so funny. :)

another great chapter. im really enjoying this story and cant wait to see what else ginny and draco got up their sleeves.

Author's Response: This story is turning out to be a bit of a prank war (of sorts) which I guess was foreshadowed with the beginning. I hope you continue to enjoy all their stunts.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, go Ginny!!!!!!!(I'm assuming that Ginny told Astoria everything and that's why she breaks up with Draco). You know, i started out hating Astoria (not b/c she's mean but just because she was the one with draco and ginny was, well, covered in green). i think i may adore the girl now. i just hope that draco won't go into that plotline, where he's angry that astoria has dumped hhim, therefore allowing him to have a newfound interest and respect for astoria, which will make lose sight of ginny, where he will vigorously pursue astoria to heal his masculine pride. i have faith in you though, for a good and satisfying d/g ending. :)

Oh, and by the way, i LOVED the fact that draco is already thinking about an impending relationship with Ginny even when he's dating her friend. that just seems so...slytherin and funny that he'd date astoria so he could get it on with ginny later.

" ...And of course she carries with her the added bonus of severely angering Potter & Co., though to be honest that’s never the first thing on Draco’s mind when he sees her. Or even in the top ten, really." this i liked because it showed he wasn't just interested in ginny because he wanted to annoy harry.

And then there's this part, "But it’s not as though dating Astoria is going to be some horrible chore after all, even if he isn’t particularly attracted to her. And this will give him more opportunities to be around Ginny. He can take the time to pave the way for their impending relationship; well, when he isn’t amusing himself by torturing her into a fit of jealous humiliation."

but the best? was this.
"No, this will be good. Draco can still dominate the playing field completely. He can picture it quite easily: he’ll have her cornered, her back up against a wall, and she will be wide-eyed.

“B-but – Astoria…” she’ll say, and Draco will smirk and shrug.

“I got bored.” He will lean close, and her face will flush red. “But you won’t bore me, will you, Weasley?”

He won’t let her answer. He will kiss her first, and after that he not only won’t let her have the time to respond, she won’t even be able to think of anything to say.

“Draco…” That will be the only word out of her lips! And Draco will be the uncontested victor, because he knows what he wants and he gets what he wants."

...and then the rest is history, as draco gets his ass handed to him on a platter by astoria and ginny.

Anyways, this is fast becoming one of my favorite stories. the chapters just keep getting better and better. I'm definitely LOVING the fast updates, and the development. I can't wait to see what happens and how ginny and draco will take this new development, and how this will affect their "impending relationship" awesome chapter, please update soon!

XOXO, JT

Author's Response: Whoa. Thanks for the excellent review. :) I'm especially glad that you ended up liking Astoria, because I'm in a similar boat. I will never be able to hate her again after writing this. :)

I really like how Astoria dumped Draco! And I like how she and Ginny were laughing! I can't wait to read more! :)

Author's Response: Little schemers, aren't they?

And of course she carries with her the added bonus of severely angering Potter & Co., though to be honest that’s never the first thing on Draco’s mind when he sees her. Or even in the top ten, really.

This was so sweet!
^;^

The Weasley knows he knows that she likes him. And she also knows that he knows that she knows that he knows she likes him. Add this up with her friendly attitude towards Astoria and pretense that Draco doesn’t exist, and it’s clear: she’s blaming him.

Oh yeah!
VERY clear!
;p

“I just wanted to let you know that I’m breaking up with you.”

“That’s nice, I – ” Draco stops. Suddenly. “What?”

HEHEHE
I LOOOOVED his reaction!!!!

And now she is laughing. With Ginny Weasley.

...He questioned her being in Slytherin why, exactly?

Hehe, Astoria's sweet way make us wonder but then she makes it clear as to why she's here.

Gin and Astoria were planning this while he was scheeming all by himslef!!
poor guy!
He doesn't stand a chance against Gin!
;P

REALLY great!
When will the other chapter be out??
^;~

kisses

Author's Response: Haha, I'm glad you had so much fun with all these lines. I love it when people quote favorite lines to me. :)

Yes! Astoria beat him! The gap in the plan that he did not even foresee, because of his arrogance....And yet you can see that he isn't horrible, just horribly spoiled, and he has potential. I cannot WAIT for the next chapter!!!!!

Author's Response: Yeah, that's the best thing about my type of Draco: he's a prat, but not a hopeless one. And of course he's arrogant enough that he would never expect for something like this to happen to him. I mean, he's Draco Malfoy! Ha.
