Interesting. I'm glad there are sequels because I'd definitely like to see where this takes off from. I will be checking those out next.

I just have to say, that that last sentence really resonates with me.
It honestly makes me cry and makes me really feel for Ginny.

Author's Response: Thank you! I was hoping it would come off as emotionally raw as opposed to horribly cheesy, a la a romance novella. I'm glad you, and hopefully other readers, sympathize with Ginevra. Hopefully, we'll all feel that way about Draco (although he's coming off as a selfish prat right now).

Ahh, then you are my favorite type of DG person: the converted DG shipper. I am a sort of converted DG shipper myself. I used to read DHr because my friends bugged me about it, but gave up after three days because Draco really has to be pretty OOC to even consider going against some seventeen years of inbred prejudice to even like Hermione. And then, ya know, I found DG, and all became right in the world. I think the DG ship just has better writers overall, lol. I'm definitely glad that you've joined the DG ship though, and have started writing for it. I have to say, I'm deeply interested as to which fic converted you to DG. It must've been bloody brilliant. :)

XOXO, JT

Author's Response: The weird thing is that I can't even REMEMBER what fic it was...i've had so many favorites that they all start to run together when I consider when I first read them. All I know is that I'm so glad I switched! Right now, I am STILL waiting for an update on "Il Dragone"

I'll admit, I skipped to the end because I didn't want some Draco-leaving-Ginny-for-Hermione story (ew, ew, ew!), and found out that he left her to be a priest (very interesting). I won't lie, I was kind of chuckling to myself at the thought of Draco becoming a priest. But good story! I hoep he goes back to Ginny though. :)

XOXO, JT

Oh, and very good job on your first fic. Please make him choose Ginny.

Author's Response: Ugh, I could never bring myself to write that. Hard to believe, but I actually began as a D/Hr shipper. Then I read one D/G and the D/Hr ship SANK! Ever since, I can't even read a story like 'Draco likes Hermione and uses Ginny but then they fall in love.' Can't do it!

I love it. It's very original and different, which is wonderful. I can't wait for the prequel. :)

Author's Response: Hopefully, "Reach Out and Touch Faith" met your expectations!

Well, "Priest" is Catholic, isn't it? And they can't get married.

Somehow you made it work despite the fact that Draco Malfoy as a priest is utterly ridiculous.

Author's Response: When you think about it, the whole D/G relationship is kind of ridiculous. But we all still love and support it :)

Just to correct a common misconception the other reviewers have- Catholic priests *can* have families provided they were married before they're ordained. The way they go in is the way they must stay. Most just choose not to because it's difficult to juggle the needs of a family with the needs of the Church.

Author's Response: This is true, but since he's entering without marrying Ginny, things aren't looking so good so far! But thank you for clearing it up for other readers!

This is very interesting! I really like it and I can't wait to read more of your stories! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! "Reach Out and Touch Faith" is up now. And the first chapter of the next part in the series is in queue

Haha. Word. I'd be so sad if he was a Catholic priest, and couldn't be with Ginny. Personally, I like Baptists. But that's just me. =]

Author's Response: I'm completely blocked, and I still don't know what I'll make him!

I give Draco "high praise" to WANT TO CHANGE what he has done in the war. to recognize that he loves Ginny, their relationship, and that she deserves a whole person that dosen't have "blood" on their hands from what they have done.

I hope that after talking with Ginny, he realizes that with out him in Ginny's life she wont be better off. I hope they finds a way to have him do what he NEEDS TO DO! AND STAY TOGETHER.....

SO YES A SEQUAL IS IN ORDER, GREAT STORY......

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I love happy endings, but I don't know if it's fair for them to have one...

I would say he would have to be a catholic because other ministers can have a wife and children.

Author's Response: Just not sure yet! I've hopefully left it open enough that even if he was a different religion, he felt like he had to leave her

I like it! Great job! I totally didn't expect that reason for the break up. I would love to read a sequel!

Thanks for the story and I look forward to reading more of your work (^_^)

Author's Response: Thank you! I just submitted a companion fic, so hopefully it'll be up very soon!

Wow, totally didn't expect the priest curveball.

Very nicely angsty. The type of just sorrow that sits in your ribcage and tickles your heart. Then explodes in happiness when things work themselves out in a good smutty snog...

Author's Response: Haha, I am a fan of when things work out! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that will happen for them...

Oh my God. Literally. This was quite well written, especially for a first fic and the plot is one that in all my years reading D/G I have never seen. Quite a shock to my heart and I would love to see a sequel b/c of its sheer audacity at crossing muggle/wizarding lines not crossed before in this archive more than a handful of times if at all. Thank you and please write more.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! I'm actually currently writing a sequel...even if no one else wanted one I realized I wanted one for myself! I'm totally lacking a beta, so I've been attempting to run ideas through my head. I'm definitely going to tell readers how he came to that point. I just have no idea if it will be the happy endings I love to read.

Protestant priests are called ministers or reverands and they're allowed to marry. Catholic priests are the only ones not allowed to marry. This was one of the many reasons for the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century.

Author's Response: Thank you! I knew Catholics are really the only ones who remain celibate and unmarried, but I just cannot decide which one I want our dear Draco to be!
