I made a mistake and started reading "You and Me" before realizing there was more to the story. I'm glad I checked it out - otherwise Draco going into priesthood seemed out of left field :)

Author's Response: I'm happy to see you've checked out the other stories too :)). And yes, I agree, Draco as a priest seems totally insane if you accidentally start here!!

Nice to see things from draco's POV. Can't wait to see where exactly you'll be taking this. :)

XOXO, JT

Author's Response: I did believe that Draco's POV needed to be seen. Otherwise, readers would just hate his character, and that is the last thing I wanted. I want people to understand both sides-- we're reminded of our pasts often, and we don't always know how to react and deal with it. People become depressed, violent, or ambivilant. This is just what Draco's chosen. And Ginny wants to help because that's what she's known all her life. She comes from a big family and, as the only girl, she was seen as the peacemaker and Devil's Advocate. It was only natural for her to become a Head Healer. Plus, she loves Draco. We all know we'd do anything to help the ones we love. Unfortunately, for now, it means she can't see him. And she may never be able to see him again. Btw, thank you for reviewing so much! I appreciate it! I get worried when no one does!

The first one, while tragic, was an ending. This can NOT be an ending. Now, there is only one solution.... more stories.
Seriously

Author's Response: Well, I've begun that solution!

I've always wondered about how religion fit into the Harry Potter series. They celebrate Christmas, but there's never a word mentioned about Christianity. And then there's the question of: if they celebrate Christmas, does that mean that all witches and wizards in the Harry Potter world are Christians? What about Jews? Muslims? And why would they be any religion at all when religions generally tend to be anti-witchcraft.

I just don't understand how Draco could become a priest. The only explanation is that he's so thoroughly screwed up that he went looking for a therapist and found a priest instead, and finally finding release there, he decided to go that route. But believing in Christianity? What, is he going to stop practicing magic now?

I do hope you continue with this series because I find the topic fascinating. I just don't know where you're going to go with it.

Author's Response: I go to a Catholic university (as a science major haha), and they tend to have a lecture/discussion once a year on how Christianity and HP relate. I've kind of seen them as people who lack any kind of religion. They don't really say "My God" but "Bloody hell!" While it is a British saying, I just could never see them as the type of people to leave their burrows or mansions to go to mass. You are right about him being thoroughly screwed up. He was wandering around and, seemingly by chance, encountered a priest. I haven't decided about him and his magic, but right now I would say he's not going to give it up Even if many see my Draco as totally OOC, the powerful magic he possesses is something he would never stop using. :)

yes, you should definitely turn this into a series. this was really good. i've never read anything like this before, where draco turns to faith. and i'd really like to see how this turns out. these are really good, a bit heartbreaking but really good!

Author's Response: Unfortunately, it's going to have to get worse for one, if not both of them. I think that sometimes people turn to their faith (newly found or not) when they feel like no one else can relate. And Draco believes that no one can at this point.

I really hope that Draco goes back to Ginny. I understand how you created Draco to go to God, but it doesn't seem like the Draco Malfoy from the books. I can't wait to read more! :)

Author's Response: The Draco from the books really left me wanting more. I felt like in books 6 and 7, he turned into a complete wuss. He really disappointed me. I always wanted him to be a totally evil badass or a hero. He was just lame! So, I'd like to think this Draco is the one I wanted to see: he was awful at Hogwarts and matured. In a way, I wanted him to be like men I know. They grow up and try their best to make up for their past.

Yes! please keep going. this is second installment is really good. Knowing what he was thinking & going thru to make him self feel whole again, and get rid of the demons that crippled his soul.

I'm still holding out that he will be able to do what he needs to do for himself and be with Ginny.

Author's Response: I hope so too! I always hate when you becoming, somehow, emotionally involved with a story. You start to think that this could happen in a real, non-HP world. And you know that you yourself would hate for things not to work out in your favor.
