You know what I just had to comment. I've been tracking this story since you first posted it. I wasn't to sure if it could amount to much, but a smut fest (no offenese). However, you flesh it out incredibly. This chapter was marvelous. I know some will be on edge, because of Ginny choosing Harry for the moment as I was too initially. But it had to happen the consequences had to come and she had to bstruggle with the weight of her marriage and its enormity. They have been together for a time. Things like this happen at the end or resolution of a marriage. Yet what there conclusion is at it still unkown I feel it points to a conclusion. Staying out of fear is the thought and guilt of hurting that peron more without realizing your doing the same by being with them when your heart is not there. I don't condone cheating, but I can understand that her heart is not to hurt him. Also its a fic for f@#ks sake, lol. If I can offer advice toward this I think it may be prudent for Ginny to find herself again without Harry and if that leads to Draco or...umm.. gasp Harry (damn my consious) then so be it. She is not doing herself or their marriage any favors by being un-truthful and ignoring the fact that she's un-happy and appears to want out.

Sigh. Staying with someone for any other reason but because you want to is not a good reason. Harry will get his comeuppance. More please. I loved this chapter.

I usually can't stand stories where Ginny or Harry cheats because they tend to end up very OOC that I end up disliking the characters, but you've done a good job here of making it a believable, understandable process with heady consequences that Ginny has to grapple with and Draco as well. The story just flows. Hope you keep up with the regular updates!

Ooooh, the plot thickens! I hate these stories as much as I love them! I can never truly hate Harry. He is a great character to me. That always sticks by me, even if the fic is insanely AU. However, I think someone out there is better for him than Ginny. So I feel no guilt in throwing Ginny to Draco.

But seeing these stories, where no one is truly happy... it wrecks me. It makes me think of my life, as crazy as that sounds. Let me explain. I'm a lesbian, can't marry, and I am constantly fighting for that right. Should I have a lifelong partner, and they get seriously ill, they will die in a hospital room without me because where I live, we are not family.

No one ends up happy.

It's sad.

I cry like a baby.

Great job. You have me hooked. I want Ginny to go back to Draco. But at this point, I like Harry enough that I do not want to see him crushed. THE TENSION!!!

You are pure evil.

It isn't about Harry. Not everything is about Harry and I wish the remaining two-thirds of the trio would realize that.

I really like this story! I love the affair and how Draco found the mirror and what it shows for him! I can't wait to read more! :)

I hope Harry doesn't take it too bad and I don't think that he's completely blind to what's going on. I hope that Hermione and Ginny's friendship won't be ruined. At the moment I'm worried about Astoria getting custody of Scorpius, I hope it doesn't happen.

The lengths people will go to in an attempt to justify their actions.

There's simply no way Hermione doesn't tell Harry immediately.

WoW, I love this one very very much.

It is a pure challenge to write a story begin with cheating on Ginny's side, But your story rolls so smoothly and you make it so reasonable.

Harry and Ginny obviously weren't ready for marriage.

SO glad you've continued this story. I've never - ever - enjoyed an epilogue-compliant fic before this one, which makes it pretty special. To me, at least. Please continue with it!

I like the little twist of him finding the bits of Erised. I love, love, love that she with him is his image while hers is a life without Harry. I am ridiculously excited at the prospect of the next update. More, more, more...

So great!! love it! I love how there's no black and white in your take on the characters, Harry isn't the "bad guy" that it's easy/fun to dislike, and Ginny isn't "right" all the time. I'm excited to see where you take this! Thanks!

I love the angle you've taken here! It always struck me (alternately in jealous and questioning tenors as i grew up with the books) that 17 is so young to be completely done with schooling and thrust into the adult world. Thinking of the romance I had at 17 (promptly falls off chair laughing) and wondering how that would work out brings to light all of the things you've addressed here. love the premise, and the ring of truth to it. yay! thanks!

I really like this! I like the relationship between Astoria and Draco and how he was pushing her. I can't wait for Draco and Ginny to get together! :)

Wow. This was fantastic! I loved the raw emotion, and the way you expertly handled their characters. Ginny was unhappy with Harry, but not petty or cruel. Draco was power-hungry, but not emotionless. The pacing was great, and I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Great job :)

This is a very compelling playing out of unexamined doubts stifled at the beginning of a relationship. I especially like Ginny resenting being forced to be the disciplinarian. Even though she did grow up seeing her mother primarily play that role, that doesn't mean she wants to relive it herself. We all know Ginny is a firecracker, and this version of her life would bore her to tears. Great job painting that picture!

I applaud you for this recent update. It was well thought out and interesting. I like how you have thought out Draco's background. His love for Astoria is endearing and sad. It was always obvious Harry and Ginny were not meant for one another. I'm impressed by your bravery in writing that small peice of Harry/Ginny intimacy because I wouldn't be able to write it. I find the pairing strange and uncomfortable. Ginny needs a challenge and though Draco appears to be quite the coward sometimes in the books, I think his sharp wit and skill would keep Ginny happy. Harry was never really right for her I don't think, he's far to easy in some aspects. He's like grass in the wind, the smallest breeze would shake him. Well I look forward to the next chapter. Keep up the awesome work.

I like the back and forth between memories and reality in this chapter. The intensity in their coupling in his off was brilliant. Mixed with the tender, playfulness of Ginny's coupling with Harry was very nice to read. Awesome chapter. I can't wait for the next update.

This chapter was confusing. Hard to follow. I can't figure out when the scene of Harry and Ginny in bed happened.

Though if it was a device to move things along more quickly, I'm all for it. I want to see Ginny and Draco "move on" towards each other.

Author's Response: I'm sorry you felt this way. I have chosen a narrative style with a linear timeline and these pockets of events, but they are tied in with relevant surrounding events as far as relevance and I do drop heavy hints as to time setting. I will definitely focus more on clarity moving forward though; thank you so much for the feedback, it really helps.
