Fred and George!! Oh man, this was a HORRIBLE place to leave this chapter. How could you? I want to know what happens next!! As frustrating as the dynamic between Gwen and Drew is, it feels perfect to me, like a real couple. My parents, too, can be really snippy towards each other, especially on road trips, when everything is irritating and you're stuck in a car together for hours. And you're doing such a great job of developing the mystery and keeping people interested to find out what happens in the next chapter!

Author's Response: Sorry! haha. I am going to post the next chapter today! And I'm so glad you feel like their relationship is believable and that you're interested in reading more. :)

Whaaaat. Okay, I wonder if they're hiding from Death Eaters. Maybe DEs seeking retibution after the war? Maybe a rewrite of the war where Voldemort won? Why does Luna seem to know more? Does she have her memories back? So intriguing!

And Draco is a dick, but his reasons make sense and make the whole characterization in character. Can't wait to see where this goes!

Author's Response: Thanks, Jess! I don't want to answer any of your questions and give away important plot details, but I will say that there is a reason why Luna knows things that D and G don't. And I'm glad you think Draco is still in character. It is actually very difficult to write a character as another character while still keeping him in character... if that makes any sense at all. ;)

I've never encountered this premise before. I'm interested to see where you take it.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I hope to update this soon. :)

Yay, it's updated, and I'll leave a real review soon!! It's pretty nuts right now with the exchange (on top of all the RL things,) but it will happen.

Author's Response: No worries, Anise! I keep disappearing, so I have a million of your fics to review as well!

The process of the way that their decisions changed in this chapter is just fascinating... Draco started really taking her seriously, and he couldn't just continue to dismiss her perceptions of danger. Meanwhile, she *wanted* to forget everything and sensed that she'd be happier if she ignored any possibility of danger actually coming out of the past, but she couldn't. (The "what if they're not" scene.)

And he definitely ended up being convinced enough so that he was willing to leave. It was a pretty extreme move on their part (how are they going to live??), but I think while neither one of them had remembered enough about the past yet to identify anything concrete, both of them knew that they needed to get out of there.

Looking forward to more! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! How they are going to live is definitely a concern, but nothing can ever happen in a story if the characters do nothing, right? More soon!

so Harry is dead, but it seems that they have run away and now about to be found? Luna knew were they are, but what about Weasleys? And why after so many years somebody is looking for them? Knowing you it will not have "happy ending", will it?:))
P.S. i am holding you to the promise of Draco's POV on your other fic:))Pretty, please?:)))

Author's Response: Yes, Harry is dead. but they didn't exactly run away. There will be more about this in chapter 6, and as for why someone is after them... I can't say, but again, it will become clear eventually! My fics generally do have a happy ending of sorts. At the very least, everything will come to a satisfactory end. I will write the Draco's POV for Pretend eventually. :)

Oh an angsty cliffie. Why thank you.

Well, Draco is loosing her...or rather his hold on her. Is this why he doesn't want her to remember? Besides Harry?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I don't want to answer the question, haha, but I will say that Draco in this story is not exceptionally dark. He is, however, misguided. Thanks for the review! :)

Oo, it's getting really interesting now!
This is a different take on the D/G relationship in a way-- they're married, they have kids, they're committed to each other-- but the dynamic shows that their essential personalities are the same as in some of your other fics where the setup might be very different. Draco's insecurity really comes through here-- he's afraid to let her know about the Harry dream, and I wonder if it's because he's afraid that if she knew the truth about their past relationship, she wouldn't want to be with him.

Anyway, I hope there's more soon! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I don't really want to comment on what you said about Draco because if I answer the question, some parts of the story may or may not be ruined for you, and that would be mean of me. But I will say this... like I said before, even in these circumstances, these are still the same characters that I always write, and even the wittiest and sharpest Draco can sometimes be a very misguided one. More soon! :)

Okay, you wrote Luna perfectly!

Author's Response: Thank you! I have never written her before, so I'm thrilled that you think I did her character justice! :)

Oooh. I wonder who else Ginny and/or Draco is going to run into! Maybe this is a curse affecting everyone involved in the war? Or the good side? Interested to see where this goes!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Jess! I can't really answer your question, but I promise that if you keep reading you will definitely find out who was affected by whatever has affected Draco and Ginny. :)

Draco in Iowa!!!
Okay, who else is picturing him holding the pitchfork in the Grant Wood painting? ;)

This really is a different Draco that we're used to seeing from you, and yet... that's a big part of what makes Draco's character so interesting in the first place. There are so many ways that he could have gone, which I don't think was true of Harry. I doubt he would have been content with not being able to afford radishes if he'd kept the memory of being a Malfoy. ;) But with a wiped memory, who knows? It'll certainly be interesting to see more of this one.

Author's Response: There will be a lot more insight into Draco and his character once we get into the story more. At this point, we're still not sure what is going on and what actually happened to them, but as we find out, the characters themselves will also find out a great deal about themselves, and hopefully I'll be able to show you that this is still the same/similar Draco I normally write... just in a different time and place and circumstance. ;) Thanks for the review!

Oh, so it looks like many of the wizarding world have lost their memories. I really wonder what happened. Also, I understand Draco's reluctance to learn about his and Ginny's past. He justfully believes that delving into past will only cause trouble in their little paradise.
I'm waiting for what's next!!

Author's Response: There are definitely others who have lost their memories, and I promise you will find out by the end what has happened! Thanks for the review :).

I just love the amnesia plot structure, but what makes this one a little different is that BOTH Draco and Ginny seem to have no clear memories at all of anything that happened in their past lives. It seems that authors tend to write these types of fics with one knowing a lot more than the other, and this sets up a different kind of dynamic. It'll be fun to see where this goes!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! You're definitely right- neither of them know much about their pasts. The only difference between them is that Ginny wants to kmow and Draco doesn't. But there are reasons for this as you will see in the next chapter.

I like the idea, Pam. It reminds me of Three Thousand Days of Innocence, except both Draco and Ginny have forgotten who they are, and of course they remember more than Draco did in Three Thousand Days. I'd be interested in reading more, finding out what happened to them and where they go from here.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Jess! I know the memory loss plots have been done before, but I am going to try to put distance between mine and the others as the story progresses!

Your story develops a very interesting idea. Who could have been the person provokes that they have forgotten their memories about the wizarding world? Moreover, they will soon realize that because their children have an age that is more known their respective accidental magic.

I hope you can update very soon your promising story.

Author's Response: I think it is safe to say that a lot of your questions will be answered soon, or at least the characters will /have/ these questions soon. I hope to update within the week! :)
